Can we prepare for bank exam if I have gap after 12
Hello,
Hope you are doing great! Here's your answer!
Bank PO stands for Bank Probationary Officer. It is a managerial level post which is offered in different Public Sector Banks as well as Private Sector Banks across India.
You cannot give bank exams after 12th immediately . The minimum eligibility to get a bank job is graduation. However there are peon, housekeeping jobs where 12th pass is required. For joining Government Banks, you will have to appear for IBPS exams after graduation.
There are certain eligibility criteria which have to be met in order to appear for a Bank PO exam. Although the criteria may vary from bank to bank, listed below are some of the common criteria which have to be met, irrespective of the banks.
Age of the applicant | 20 years to 30 years* |
Nationality of the applicant | Indian** |
Educational qualification of the applicant | Should have a graduation degree from a recognized university |
*The age bracket mentioned above is applicable to applicants belonging to the General category only. An age relaxation of 3 years is applicable for applicants belonging to OBC category. On the other hand, applicants belonging to SC or ST category will get an age relaxation of 5 years.
The nationality or citizenship of the applicant who appears for the IBPS CWE or Bank PO examination can be one of the following:
- Indian
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- A Tibetan refugee who entered India for permanent settlement before 1 January 1962
- Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Pakistan, Vietnam, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, or one of the listed East African countries.
Hope it will help!
Thank you!

Hello Student
I am surprised to know that how you have doing your bachelor degree without passing intermediate or 12th class examination. Doing any three years or four years degree course in any of the subjects candidate has to passed 12th 12th science arts or commerce or intermediate examination of any stream. This is the main criteria for admission in bachelor degree. Whenever you will apply for any government job it will not be valid for you to get an interview. After scrutinising all the documents you have meet your respective application submitted they will cancell your application as you have no intermediate pass certificate.
Hope this helps.
hearing impaired student with 50% disability can apply for SBI and other Bank exams , please give me information about it, temporary disability certificate valid upto 2026
Hi, Hearing impairment means loss of 60 decibels or more in the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies. A person whose sense of hearing is non-functional for ordinary reasons of life. Someone who has lost the hearing ability of both ears, OR who can’t hear sounds at all even with amplified speech. SBI provides the scribe assistance for candidates belonging to PwD categories. Any PwD candidate who is physically disabled 40% or more can avail scribe services if he desires. Such candidates are offered additional time to complete the paper. Scribe service can be availed by only those candidates who have disabilities that limit them to write, including that of speed. In all the cases where a scribe service is availed, the following conditions will be applicable: The requirement of a scribe must be enclosed at the time of filling the SBI PO Application Form. An undertaking as prescribed must be submitted at the time of online examination. A compensatory time of 20 min/hr of the exam will be available to such candidates, even if they avail the scribe service. The candidates have to arrange their scribe at their own cost. This is the same for other bank exams as well. If you still have doubts feel free to comment. Hope this helps.
Mam/Sir, I am eligible for ts EAMCET fee rembursment. But now I dont have a bank account.Do I need to take zero balance/student account only? Or normal savings account?
Hello,
If you are a minor having a joint account you will still get fee reimbursement. It should be a valid bank account and the details must be true. If you are above 18 you can take an independent bank account but still you will get fee reimbursement if you fulfill the eligibility criteria.
You can take a student account or saving it doesn't matter.
