Bannari College is a great college if we leave the facts that a strict dress code is followed in the college and the mobile phones are always a strict no. The faculty are not very good and would be a difficult to say if they will help you or not. In short it is a very old-fashioned college with a bright facade.

In college hostels generally vegetarian food is served because that is acceptable for all.Its not clarified that whether in canteen non vegetarian food is served or not.

You can contact someone who is there in the college.And mostly all college prefer vegetarian food.

the college gives the good placement based on the skills. Many companies visits for the recruitment of the students. The internships are hugely available for the students. The placement officer perfectly manages the placements. The foreign companies also visit the college for the placement. More than 30% of the students got the internships for many companies. But, Not All Students Get Placements. The College Is Good In Infrastructure. Faculty Is Not That Good. But Campus Life And Crowd is Very Amazing.

The median package for bannari amman institute of technology is 3.30L/year the college has good infrastructure as well as good faculty and is autonomous.

meanwhile Kongu college of engineering has a median package of 2.91L/year and according to NIRF ranking is ranked 99th just a rank below bannari.

I will suggest you to join or keep bannari as your first choice followed by kongu

As for hostel mess and sports facility. Both have all the 3 and the student review for bannari are slightly better than kongu but the difference is not that high that it's noticeable.

Bannari Amman Institute of Technology:

Placements in the college are decent. Some students get placed in good companies while some get internships. Many companies visit the college for placements every year and offer many jobs. Not only engineering related companies but companies related to other sectors also visit the college for placements. Overall, the college is average in terms of placements and good for getting medium salaries.

Panimalar Institute of Technology:

The college provides placements, but it all depends upon you. Placements are very good for IT and CSC background students, but we cannot expect the same for mechanical. Mechanical placements are a bit unsatisfactory. Most of the people get placed with a salary of Rs. 10,000 per month. Many companies visit the campus for placements. Most of them will not offer a salary package of more than 1.2 LPA.

Hi Naveen !  The college official website does not contain any data showing the branch wise placements stats, so I can not help you with that. It only displays how many students got placed . I would suggest you to contact a person who is studying there or have studied there to get detailed information about their placements.

I would definitely give the college a 4/5 based on my experience.One of the best engineering colleges in the country.

The campus is located at the District of Erode in Sathyamangalam. There is nothing about Sathyamangalam except for its natural resources. The forest, flowing rivers, dams are a great places to spend time out of our cellphone-internet-bound worlds. The campus itself is very accurately designed with so much of beautiful trees and plants making it a very nice place to stay and learn.

Moving on to the main purpose, the institution ranks in one among-st the top colleges in India for education. Accredited an "A" grade from the National educational board of India. The labs and classrooms are very well equipped as the staffs are. Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, referred as BIT in the following context, also offers the student classes for the Cambridge University's Business English Certification and officials conduct the exam inside the campus itself. BIT also provided students classes on Japanese, German, Hindi to name a few. Language labs were very modernly equipped helping students from the basic scales of mastering the languages.

Since the campus is not located near an Urban locale, 95% of the student population are hostelers. The hostel rooms are very well spaced and uniquely designed. The sugarcane factory nearby, owned and operated by the same group, provides uninterrupted power. The mess is able to cater all the students and there is a paid canteen available inside for students as well.

Many people may disagree about the standards of BIT being top notch, but the standard of the institute is the premium. The career services are also student-centric and makes the students prepare for their career.

I would highly recommend students to look no ahead than BIT for their engineering studies in India.

Hi Vishnu, for graduation course course fee is 160000 per annum and hostel fee is around 36000 per annum so in total it is approx 196000 per annum. Hope this is helpful to clear your dilemma. All the best for your future and do like this answer.
