agelimit for LLB in India accordingto BCI
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing absolutely great.
So, with regard to your query, there is no age limit to do LLB course in India according to the norms of Bar council of India. The lower age limit is 18 years, and there is no upper age limit. However, you need to complete your 10+2 with 45% of aggregate marks. Further, it is mandated that one cannot do LLB course in distance mode, you can only do it in regular course only.
Hope this helps you,
Thank you.
if i will pursue for 1 year LLM in 2022 will it not be valid for lifetime as BCI has abolish this 1 year LLM ?
Hello,
In 2013 one year LLM programme may be introduced from the Academic Year, 2013-14 in all universities established or incorporated in accordance with provisions of the UGC Act, 1956 and all institutions by or affiliated to such universities but in January 2021 it is scrapped as any master degree must have atleast a long time duration to understand the course well.if it is implemented BCI will conduct a Post Graduate Common Entrance Test in Law (PGCETL) for admission instead of clat.
further, Candidates who pursue 1 year llm course from foreign country with llb they are eligible for visiting professor in india.
You have to pursue two years llm valid course because the BCI has rights to lay down standards for legal educational programmes in India.year 2022 llm admission is challenged in supreme court by NLU's wait for verdict.
hope it helps!!!
is this college approved by BCI?
Hello Aspirant
Yes, Durgapur Institute of Legal Studies(DIOS), Burdwan is approved by Bar Council of India(BCI). It is situated in Burdwan(West Bengal). It was established in 2006 and it is a private college. Popular degrees offered at DIOS are LLB, BA+LLB.
This means that in future the government employee cannot do LLB because he cannot take the morning class and made the evening class illegal, it is directly the dictatorship of BCI.
You didn't mentioned what you have considered regarding. The Bar council of India is the authorised body for the Legal education in India. So if you have any query regarding the interpretation of the rules and academic regulations issued or advised by the BCI, then you should repost your question with the proper specifics. So that we can understand which portion you are having problem and we can provide you the required information accordingly.

What is the validity of BCI approval for Pushpa singh vidhi mahavidyalay ? Can we get registration in from Bar Council after completing LLB from this college?
Greetings,
You can get the license of Bar Council of any state or Union Territory after giving and clearing the bar council examination. It doesn't matter if you do you LLB from a private college or government college you just need to be a law graduate before enrolling yourself as an advocate.
