For b.ftech only students with PCM (science) are eligible Where as boor design all students are eligible.
Bftech(Fashion design) is a four year undergraduate course which enables the candidates to conceptualize different designs, make design patterns and construct garments. Assuming you are in general category I have the following predictions. There are a total of 100 seats offered for B.Des in NID Ahmedabad. There are 60 in Vijayawada and 60 in Kurukshetra. According to previous year results, you have quite less probability to get a seat in NID Ahmedabad. But you may get a seat in NID Kurukshetra. All the best!!!
can we attend nid B.Des entrance exam in any of its branch ? or only in ahmedabad?
The NID (National Institute of Design) has its main institute at Ahmadabad. However, you can give entrance at other mentioned venues too. When you apply for the entrance exam, you will have the option to choose a city nearest to you and that will be your exam venue.
The NID organizes its entrance in many cities across India.

NID has 3 campuses
- Ahmedabad- Heritage campus
- Gandhinagar- PG Campus
- Bangalore- R&D campus
In addition to these there are Vijaywada and Kurukshetra Campus which provides diploma program. These are newly established.
Bangalore campus do not provide UG program and only provides following PG courses:
- Design for retail experience
- Digital game design
- Information design
- Interaction design
- Universal design
And a diploma in designing. You may get B.Des in Ahemdabad campus.

My 2019 common merit rank is 5210 and category( sc) rank is 385 can i get nift new Delhi for fashion designing bdes and how ?
According to 2018 admissions, cut off for B. Des Fashion Designing was rank 776 for SC category.
Since your rank is 385, the chances of you getting a seat in Delhi campus for the course is high!

Since you are from a reserved category (obc),so you can appear for the councelling process on the basis of your category merit rank.
