The curriculum for NEET 2023 is expected to remain the same as NEET 2022 as there hasn't been any such notice about it from NTA yet.

Many aspirants aren't aware of the BDS syllabus and how vast it is. Once you enter the course,you will realise it is just as demanding as MBBS. The subjects are new to you, you are trying to adjust to a new environment and lifestyle and having to spend endless hours understanding and memorising alot of topics that are quiet new and sometimes tricky to understand.

You can surely put in the hardwork and do both the BDS course and give NEET next year, but there are high chances of severe mental burnout for both the course syllabus and the NEET exam preparation are quiet demanding of both time and energy, which can cause frustration and depression.

Also, many Dental colleges, if not all, demand fees for all years ,even if you want to drop out after the first year demanding to pursue other subjects. So please make sure you make the necessary enquiry with the concerned authority or college about these things before making the final decision.

I would advise you to take a gap year if you want to repeat and give your complete effort to NEET 2023. Don't be waivered by what the people around you are doing. Discuss it, think over it and concentrate on your future. After all, only you know the amount of efforts you put into it.

From your profile, it seems you are from Rajasthan ( correct me in reply if needed).
Unfortunately, with the marks you have got, you will not get a govt medical college. Getting a seat in private medical college would also be too difficult.

Don't loose hope, you can try again. I am sure you will achieve what you want.

Cut off in all the colleges changes every year so it can be difficult to predict. However looking at previous year's cut off trends candidates from EWS category required minimum 480-500 marks to get admission in government college for BDS. With the marks you have mentioned above there can be chances of your admission in government college. You can apply under state quota as you have mentioned above that you are having UP domicile certificate, as per the state counselling 85% seats are reserved for state quota students, this might increase chances of your admission.
