How many mark in neet ug is required to get admission in MBBS,BAMS,BDS ? I am expecting 476 mark in neet ug under obc category, So can I get admission in any of above mentioned courses?
Dear Aspirants,
The qualifying percentage is 50% for UR and 45% for ST/SC/OBC category. The minimum marks required to get admission in MBBS, BAMS, BDS is 137-108 marks if you're in OBC/ST/SC category. If you get 476 mark in NEET UG then you can easily get admission in government college for BDS and BAMS but for MBBS you get admission in deemed university.

Qualifying marks for reserved category in neet 2021 was 108-137. Above which you have to pay certain amount of fees for any private colleges either you belong to reserved or unreserved category. It's difficult to enroll for free in any colleges.
Hope it's clear!
can I get admission in BDS private college under 120 marks?
Hey aspirant
120 mark is too low for getting admission in bds. Expected cut off mark for general candidate is 137. Minimum 350+ mark is needed for admission in dental colleges. Cut off will vary year by year but 350 is the safe score for getting admission for private bds colleges. private colleges for bds under 120 marks
Dear aspirant
First of all if you are Gen category candidates then there is doubt whether you will qualify NEET 2022 at your expected marks because it's low. Cut off marks for qualifying neet from last two year are 138/720 and 147/720 in respective years. Even in other categories also there will be doubt as result yet to be declared.
Even if you get qualify at your expected marks you may get deemed dental college only which have very high tution fees.
You may have chances in following dental college
- Yenepoya Dental College, Yenepoya
- KM Shah Dental College, Vadodara
- Santosh Dental college, gaziabad
-
SRM Katt. Dental College and Hospital, Chennai

All the best
which is better...go for BDS then MDS or bsc agriculture, bio chemistry, bio technology for more opportunities?
Hello,
Let me clear you, it is all depend on your interest.
If you want to be a dentist then go for BDS. After that go for MDS to get master in that field. All you have to give NEET UG exam for admission in BDS and NEET PG exam for admission in MDS.
If you want to go for agricultural domain related sector then you can opt for Bsc Agriculture. But to getting job in this domain is little difficult. You have to work hard to get a good companies or you can even go for government job after that. It's a long process.
If you interested to do bio with chemistry then go for biochemistry but not a good one for future oppurtunities.
If you want to do engineering in the field of bio technology then you can opt for it. You can given many different exam such as JEE exam to get admitted in top engineering colleges for this domain and get recruited by good company.
Now its all upto you, which one you choose according your interest.
Thank You
Is it worthy that go to BDS through c category in home town?
Hello there,
Hope you are doing good,
First you should always try through state quota in the particular state you belong to, since according to state counselling 85% of the seats are reserved through state quota. If you do not get through this quota or if you have not scored qualifying marks for a particular quota/minority then you can definitely go through C category seats. There can be nothing wrong to opt for such seats if you can get it and if you are willing to pay the fees, since these category seats are quite expensive as compared to fees in the other colleges.
