My neet score is 500 .Will I get any government bds college in bihar. I am an obc category female?
Hello aspirant,
After being an OBC candidate it is being quiet difficult for you to get any government bds college in Bihar. The cutoff in government bds college usually ranges between 580 to around 600. With 500 marks it is very tough for you to get these colleges. So i would suggest you to to look for other options and make your career.
Thank you
Hope this information helps you.

Hello there,
Hope you are doing well
According to the state counseling, 85% seats in all the colleges are reserved for state quota. For the state quota candidate needs to belong to that particular state and he/she needs to have a domicile certificate for the state they want to take admission in. If candidate has domicile certificate and belong to that particular state he can get admission through state quota.

what is the minimum cut off required for NEET (for general category) as well as in 12 th to get admission for BDS in D Y patil dental school, pune college or in any other private and government college in maharashtra? (for general category)
Dear Ananya,
Iam glad to share you that I am also dental student with general category from a private dental college.I also had all these doubt while taking admission.
Now,I am applicable to answer all these queries.
So let's start with class 12th,
For Class 12th,you have passed your class 12th with PCM(physics, chemistry, biology) or PCMB.
Your aggregate marks for physics, chemistry and biology should be 50% for general category.no other requirements needed.
Secondly,DY patil dental college is private dental college so you don't think so much, you have just passed neet cut-off (720-138),It means that If your neet score is more than 138 then you can get councelling for any private dental college and you will get the college easily.
But, Taking admission in government colleges are not so easy, you must have atleast 550+marks.
Even after this,If there is any doubt then you can ask with out any hesitation.best of luck

how many marks should I score in neet to get govt bds seat. ( I have reservations -s.c)
Hello Aspirant,
As per your profile you belongs to Telangana so considering your domicile state as Telangana, if wrong then kindly correct me in the comment section below.
It is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of exact cut-offs for any particular college because the cut-off keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors such as :-
*** number of candidates appeared in NEET UG 2022
*** difficulty level of the paper
*** top score for NEET 2022
*** total number of seats available for admission and so on
But we can help you on the basis of previous years cut-offs, by analyzing data of previous years we can guide you upto some sort of expected cut-offs of government BDS colleges.
So if we go through previous years cut-offs then according to that, you should have at least 400+ or more marks out of 720 in NEET UG 2022 to get government dental college through state quota counselling of Telangana but for All India Quota counselling you should score at least 490 or more marks out of 720.
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
You can also solve the Test series for NEET 2022 for better finishing of your preparation, you can get the Test series from the link given below :-

Good Luck!!
i am student from st . I couldnt secure a govt medical college in Assam my state so my parents are sending me for private bds college in other state. So if i get seat next year can i leave the college next year and will they debarred my from attempting neet.
Dear aspirant
No you will not be debarred from attempting neet, after getting admission in BDS college also you can still attempt neet exam and if you get govt MBBS college next year you can leave BDS college and take admission in that college.
There is only one major problem will be there, if you got admitted in any private dental college they might ask you to fill bond paper or undertaking which will State the terms and conditions what will happen if you leave the course in the middle. Most of the dental college have rules that you will have to pay whole course fees i.e 4years if you are leaving in the college in middle of the course. For taking admission in any other colleges you will need your original documents and they will not provide you unless you pay bond amount or total course fee.
So be careful while making this decision. It's better for you to take full drop and full focus on neet and then score good to get govt college next year. Try to convince your parents otherwise if you go now in private dental college and you leave in between you might have to pay heavy amount for that.

I got 435 in NEET 2022 exam . I want to take admission in Government MBBS OR BDS college in Maharashtra India ( or native state- Karnataka) . Can you plz guide me? (category- General -open - hilly area)
Hey aspirant
For a general candidate minimum 600+ is needed to get admission for mbbs in government medical colleges. This could change as cut off varies. But you can't get admission in government medical college with 435 marks. Minimum 450+ is also needed for getting admission in government dental college of Maharashtra. You will get admission in private dental colleges for above mark. You have also a chance of getting admission for bams, bhms government colleges. Can i get bds in b category with 290 marks in All India quota??
Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well.
I'm assuming You belong to the general category. Making predictions is challenging because the cutoff varies each year dependent on different factors including
- number of students who took the neet exam
- type of grades they received,
- The difficulty level of the neet exam is
- Number of seats available
- the category you belong to, etc.
Anyway, when we review trends from the prior year
Having received 290 marks,In the 15% all-India quota counselling process for government colleges, your prospects of getting into mbbs are poor. Your grade for the same should have been at least 615 or above.
You have chances in the following deemed universities for mbbs, along with their cutoff scores for neet 2020. Second round all India counselling was held for 100% of the deemed university seats. -
----------) JLN Medical College, Datta Meghe, Wardha:- 239 marks
----------) Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and RI, Puducherry:- 231 marks
----------) Cettinad Hospital and Research Institute, Kancheepuram:- 215 marks
----------) GITAM:- 197 marks
----------) Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospt., Puducherry:
- 192 marks
----------) Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital, Chennai:- 189 marks
----------) Shri Satya Sai Medical College and RI, Kancheepuram:- 173 marks
----------) Meenakshi Medical College Host. and Res. Inst., Chenna:- 169 marks
And a few more
Similar circumstances apply to bds; however, you do not have any chances to enrol in government colleges.
This was projected using data from prior years, but the cutoff continues shifting, so you may use our college predictor at to get an accurate picture of the full list of universities where you stand a chance

Will I get BDS Government College for 571 marks in NEET UG 2022 in All India Quota, General Category, Bihar state.
Hello Aspirant,
See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the cut-offs keep on changing every year but yes we can provide you the list of colleges that you can get based on previous years cut-off data.
So according to the data, on such marks and category you have almost no chances for any of the government dental colleges through AIQ counselling because in 2020 the closing cut-off for BDS seat was around 590+ for General category but you have good chances of getting seat in some dental colleges in Bihar under state quota according to previous year's cut-off.
As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you have chances in following colleges :-
Buddha Institute of Dental Science & Hospital, Patna
Mithila Minority Dental College & Hospital
Sarjug Dental College & Hospital, Laheriasarai
Patna Dental College, Patna
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-
NEET 2022 Cutoff Bihar: Expected & Previous Year Cut offs 2021, 20, 19, 18, 17 (careers360.com)
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your expected marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-
