I want to tell you that if you wanna take admission in DTU,Delhi it depends whether you are from delhi region or outside delhi region and the category from which you belong.

Since you have a crl rank of 78k,so i think it will not be easy to get electrical branch in DTU.

I think you should look for any other options for admission in B.Tech.

You can try in different govt.colleges.

Because with this rank, these types of colleges are not possible.Pease give a try and try your luck.

I don't know about the iert in lucknow but I am a student of btech mechanical in lucknow university so I can tell you about that —-

Pros-

Since they have started past year only so all the facilities are very good library lab etc

Most of the teacher are good by heart and forgive easily they are not like professor who will make you cry and will take everything personally

Up till now the compulsory attendance is 60% only ….t hough they say that they will increase it…..

Fees was lesser than any college in lucknow it was 80000 but from this session they have increased it to 120000.

Cons-

70% of the teacher are newly recruited they haven't any past experience of teaching so either they don't no what to teach or how to teach(physics department is exception in this case because teacher of physics are the best as per a state level college).

Most of the lab assistant are piece of crap .

Babu's you all know how they talk ……even vice Chancellor can't have that much attitude in his voice

The marks you will get will be of you hard work only not even a single mark is given even if it can save you from back…there is no concept of relative checking if topper get 4 out of 20 he will be awarded 4.

After the fees hike I doesn't think it's a better choice because placement here will be very less and rules are tight here

Yes! you can get placed easily. Checking the last year's trends, 58 students sat for the placements out of which 41 got placed

So the success rate is almost 71%. 

The average package was 6.5lac and highest was 16.6lacs which is really great and better than some private colleges too.

For general the cutoffs in aith Kanpur is 183-477. So maybe you won't be able to get in there with your rank. The scheduled caste cutoff was from 858-1076 in 2018.

But Btech biotechnology (lateral) is having cutoffs from 1172-5920.
