Course Length: The Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) programme lasts two years after graduation.

Norms for B.Ed. admission: A applicant must possess a graduating degree from an accredited university with at least a 50 % grade point average in order to be eligible for BEd.

However, I will advise you to pursue an LLM after earning your LL.B., and if you choose to continue your education, you can pursue a PhD in law. You can work as a lecturer in higher education after receiving your PhD.

You haven't mentioned the name of the specific university for which you're enquiring, there are various options regarding this for example IGNOU offers BEd for which NTA is the conducting authority, its eligibility criteria is passed bachelor's degree or master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university securing 50% aggregate, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, the entrance test is conducted for two hours in offline mode in English and Hindi, there isn't any negative marking while one mark is awarded for each correct attempt,

there are a total of two sections with total marks of 100 allotted, part A has

• General English Comprehension for 10 marks,
• Logical & Analytical Reasoning for 20 marks,
• Educational & General Awareness and Teaching-Learning & the School for 25 marks each,

part B has subject competence for 20 marks, for this year the entrance test is already concluded, application form was released in March,

As per the order, students who will take admission to BEd course will pay Rs 45,000, instead of earlier Rs 51,250 in the first year. In the second year, the students will pay Rs 25,000 instead of Rs 30,000. For the four-year BEd programme, the government has fixed Rs 30,000 per year as fee.
