As your college is jain minority college then im belongs to SC category reserved . Can I get admission in BHMS in your college or not_?
Hello student,
If the college is a Jain minority institution, the primary reservation is likely for Jain minority students. However, many minority institutions also allocate seats for other reserved categories, including SC. Admission possibilities will depend on the college’s specific reservation policy, the availability of seats for non-minority reserved categories, and your rank or score.
To confirm, check with the college directly or review its admissions brochure, as they usually outline seat allocation policies for both minority and other reserved category applicants.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
What is 3rd round cut off OBC for BHMS
For the third round of NEET 2024 counseling, the cutoff for OBC candidates aiming to pursue a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) generally lies between the 40th percentile and a score range of approximately 138 to 105. This cutoff varies depending on factors like the state, the number of available seats, and competition within each round. The third round may see slightly lower cutoffs compared to initial rounds due to unfilled seats, allowing candidates with scores closer to the lower end of this range to secure admissions.
Each counseling session considers several factors, including the total candidate pool, seat availability, and overall demand for BHMS courses. The BHMS cutoff can vary significantly across different states and institutions, so keeping track of the specific cutoffs within the desired region and college is advisable. It’s also beneficial to monitor state counseling updates for the most accurate and recent cutoff information, as some states may have specific eligibility criteria or additional rounds to fill remaining seats.
I want to get admission in BHMS course. Please help me
Hello aspirant
Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery is the full version of BHMS. A 5.5-year undergraduate degree program with a specialization on homeopathic medicine is called BHMS. The foundations of homeopathy, an alternative medical system that stresses patients' natural healing abilities and comprehensive care, are taught to students in the BHMS degree.
Candidates must have received 50% of the possible points in Class 12 Science with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) in order to be eligible for the BHMS course. To apply for a BHMS course, a person must be at least 17 years old. The cost of a BHMS course can range from INR 1.5 Lakh to INR 3 Lakh.

Hello aspirant,
NEET is one of the most toughest exam of India. That's why with a score of 160 it is not possible to get government medical college. Even it is very difficult to get private medical colleges with this score. So I suggest you to prepare hard and give NEET exam next year.

I have completed BHMS I want to study diploma in gyn and obs. In villupuram govt college is it available? Can I study diploma after BHMS?what is procedure to join this diploma course?
Hello there,
As a
BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) graduate
, pursuing a
Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics (DGO)
can be a great way to further specialize in women's health. However, there are a few important factors to consider regarding eligibility, course availability, and admission procedures:
Can You Study DGO After BHMS?
-
Eligibility:
Typically, the
Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics (DGO)
is available for graduates of
MBBS
, not BHMS. Most medical councils and institutions in India require an MBBS degree as the minimum qualification for DGO courses.
-
Homeopathy Stream Restrictions:
Since DGO is part of the allopathic medical stream, BHMS graduates generally aren’t eligible to pursue this diploma directly, as it falls under allopathic specialties.
Options for BHMS Graduates:
-
Post-Graduate Courses in Homeopathy:
As a BHMS graduate, you can opt for post-graduate courses in
Gynaecology and Obstetrics
within the homeopathy stream (such as MD in Gynaecology or a certificate course in homeopathy).
-
Allied Healthcare Fields:
Alternatively, you could explore
allied healthcare fields
related to women's health, such as
Reproductive Health
,
Maternity Care
, or
Public Health
courses.
Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics (DGO) Availability in Villupuram Government College:
-
Villupuram Government Medical College:
To confirm whether the
DGO course
is available at Villupuram Government Medical College, you would need to check directly with the institution. Government medical colleges in Tamil Nadu generally offer DGO for MBBS graduates.
Procedure to Join DGO:
For MBBS graduates, the general procedure to join a Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics (DGO) is as follows:
-
Eligibility: You must have completed an MBBS degree from a recognized medical college and have a valid NEET-PG score .
-
Entrance Exam: Admissions are based on your performance in the NEET-PG entrance exam, which is required for diploma and postgraduate medical courses.
-
Counseling Process: Participate in the state or all-India level counseling process to secure a seat in a government or private medical college offering the DGO course.
-
Document Submission: After securing a seat, you will need to submit necessary documents like your MBBS degree, NEET-PG rank, and other certificates during the admission process.
Conclusion:
As a BHMS graduate, pursuing a DGO diploma is not typically an option, as the course is designed for MBBS holders. However, you can explore alternative specializations within the homeopathy stream or related healthcare fields. For MBBS graduates, the pathway to DGO involves clearing NEET-PG and participating in the counseling process. Check directly with Villupuram Government Medical College for course offerings and eligibility criteria.

In keam provisional allotment list for ayush and allied courses, I got admission for bhms which was my 10th option. But I need bams (my first 5 option )which Im eligible according to last rank of 2023. So is it necessary to join the alloted college in first round .
It is not necessary to accept college at first allotment in keam if you are not satisfied with your college go for upgrade option in your second round but remember you might loose your seat in round 1 if you exercise upgrade option.seat allocation is based on availability so if your choice college is not available in 2nd round they will not allot you.
