what is the cut off of last two year for m.sc in big data analytics?
Hello aspirant,
St Xavier's Mumbai does not have a specific MSc cutoff mark. They publish merit lists, and if your name appears on one, it means you passed the cutoff. They do not publish any official course cutoffs. Candidates are chosen in a variety of ways depending on the course. Typically, scores from the Bachelors and an interview are used.
To know everything about the cutoff, you can visit our site by clicking on link given below.

which is better btech in cse or btech in cse with specialization big data analytics?
Hello, I hope you are doing well
B. Tech in CSE is a very good career option as the demand of B. Tech CSE Engineers is increasing day by day.
Now there are certain differences between doing B. Tech in CSE and doing it with some specialization. Doing CSE according to your your interest is important, but If you took CSE with specialization big data analytics in your case, you will become limited to that field. Also, when you will apply for jobs in various companies you will be only selected for work of your field. Because, there are many companies which only consider B. Tech in CSE students during the placements, yes there are some which give preferences to specialization candidates but that number is not very much in the favor.
On the other hand, if you pursue CSE without specialization, you will focus on those aspects on coding which are important for your career ahead. For example most of the companies conduct a coding round for shortlisting the candidates you can focus on clearing those rounds when you don't have any other particular topic like Big Data to deal with. I hope you are getting the point and yes, B. Tech in CSE is way better.
Hope this helps
I enquired from st.xaviers and jai hind college Mumbai about entrance exam they said that non-resident of Maharashtra has to undergo exam what are the , important topics and paper pattern to cover for the entrance exam to acquire admission in MSc Big data analytics
Dear applicant as per the genuine entrance exams syllabus pattern there are also entrance exams carried out by St. Xavier's and Jai Hind Institute, but for the non resident of Mumbai. Now based on the knowledge that you acquired in your undergraduate degree and the subject in which you wish to pursue the Masters, the entrance is taken. If you have UG degree in the same subject that is an added advantage and you can positively expect the general knowledge based questions on Data Analytics portions. You additionally require some basic knowledge of
1. Mathematics
2. Computer Science
3. Statistics
4. Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude
Good luck!!
Can I do M.sc Big data analytics in St . Josephs college, BENGLURU.
My friend is currently pursuing the course . He is completing the course by 2022. He said that the course offered by the administration was quiet okay. The staff availability may vary depends on time . You may find no time to for the your other activities, it will be like you have to be spending more time rather than normal working days. Then the placement in the college was not quiet good.

Which one has better scope in future and what are the subjects included in both of them..CSE with Big Data Analytics vs CSE with AI and ML?
Hello student,
There is nothing like one is good and one is bad between CSE or CSE with specialization . In fact, if you want one line answer of this question then I will say that the better one CSE is that which have got your interest and attention.
Let me explain it to you. See, normal CSE deals with all the aspects which are related to computer science and engineering, whereas CSE with specialization involves mostly your specialization . For example, if choose CSE with Artificial Intelligence then the major focus will be to make you excellent in Information AI areas whereas, Normal CSE is a comprehensive course in computer applications and system. Generally it involves with designing and developing computer software/applications and hardware processes. If a student opt for this course, he/she will be able to understand, learn and use various programming languages, networking and telecommunications, digital and analog electronics, etc.
But there is a catch, with normal CSE too, you can study that specialization technology too being in normal CSE and there are lot of supplements available for you on Internet to help you, not only this many colleges nowadays are giving options for AI, ML when a student enters in 5th semester.
Placement wise too there is n ot too much difference but a very slight difference as of now. In some cases, you might be getting the benefit of taking Computer Science with specialization . For example, a company whose major work is based on AI & ML then for the obvious reason they will first give priority to the guy who has done CSE with AI & ML as a specialization. But remember that, specialization makes you confined too because there are not a large number of companies that are based on your specialization, so in this case, Normal CSE has an edge, as there are bulk of companies for them, though most of them allow to sit the specializations students, too but few of them might not allow sitting.
Now coming back to you one another question, which is what are the subjects in these CSE specializations then below I am mentioning the subjects.
CSE with Big Data Subjects:-
- Engineering mathematics
- Statistics
- Operating System
- Programming
- IT systems
- Internet technology
- Information security
- Data structures
- Data mining
- Data warehousing
- Data analytics
- Hadoop administration
- Communication skills
- Project work
CSE with AI&ML Subjects:-
Now in this you will have almost same subjects but AI and ML will be there. There is no specific names of subjects in AI and ML, these itself are the topics.
I hope this analysis clear your doubts.
Feel free to connect in comment section if having any doubts.
Thank you!
