i want to become a subject matter expert...in statistics/economics / bioinformatics/in computer science.... I am currently working as an editor and a writer....what i need to pursue to become a subject matter expert??
Mentioned below are the points for becoming a Subject Matter Expert:
- First of all you must have knowledge of Statistics, bioinformatics Computer Science or desired subject in which you want to become subject Matter Expert.
- Try to search for opportunities online. Most of the companies are hiring subject Matter Expert online. These companies include Vedantu, Filo etc.
- Fill in the application form of Subject Matter Expert and appear for the test and clear it with qualifying scores.
- Once your test and interview round is approved then you can become a Subject Matter Expert and can earn well.

i want to pursue msc in bioinformatics can i give csir net
Hello,
There is no course on Bioinformatics. There is course named Life science which can be persued after MSc. Bioinformatics through CSIR NET.
Only after receiving at least a 55 percent on your Master's degree would you be qualified for the CSIR NET. Candidates who fall under the reserved category are given an extra 5% in marks.
You may apply for CSIR NET without being concerned about your age because there is no upper age restriction. The maximum age for JRF is 28 years old. Candidates who fall within the protected category are eligible for an age reduction. So if you're interested in passing the CSIR NET, you may start studying for Life Sciences courses.
Thank You
i cant download brouchure for M.Sc bioinformatics
Hello
For postgraduate students in the scientific stream, there is a 2-year degree called MSc Bioinformatics, or Master of Science in bioinformatics. The main purpose of bioinformatics is to manage data in contemporary biology and medicine.
Colleges and universities have set a minimum 50 percent passing grade requirement for bachelor's degrees in the science stream as the eligibility requirement. For an MSc in Bioinformatics, the average course fee ranges from INR 1,000 to INR 4 lakhs. It primarily depends on the campus's size and location, the faculty, and the courses that the college or university offers.
Please mention the college for which you want to download broacher

can i do bsc bioinformatics and msc data science ? will it help to under data science more ?
Hello User,
Hope you are doing well.
Yes!! And you will be surprised but there is already demand and openings for a Data Scientist with a biology background. I have received couple of openings from Naukri dot com.
Statistical techniques are always being used in this field. Since now you have computation power and tools such as python there is a large demand in the market.
I have seen some requirements like Data scientists in molecular biology, medical research. There is a widely used image recognition model that detects benign tumors from other harmful tumors.
Data is in some sense the future of biology and interestingly enough, data science in itself is just a method - solving challenges related to biology, bio-medicine, agriculture - this is (in my opinion) the next frontier for data science.
Hope this will help you...Good Luck!
will i get CSE bioinformatics in vellore campus, My viteee rank is 12800
Hey Aspirant,
As per your information you score rank 12800 in VITEEE but you didn't mention about your category so I can't identified that's your general or any other category from which you belong. Category is very important to get admission in any branch or in any college. VITEEE cut off 2019 branch CSE (specialization in Bioinformatics) the closing rank is 7500. VITEEE cutoff 2020 branch CSE (Bioinformatics) the closing rank is also 7500. According to this criteria there are less chance to get admission in Vellore campus in CSE Bioinformatics you must try in any other branch or in any other campus for this specialization.

Is MAHE good for MSc Bioinformatics? What other state or private universities would be good for the course? (planning to do my PhD abroad)
Manipal University is truly one of the best colleges in the nation for students with solid financial standing. If you have a strong interest in the course material, you could really pursue a master's degree in regenerative medicine. Although there are few possibilities in India, it is fresh and rising in overseas universities as well.
From the ones you suggested, Bioinformatics would be the more lucrative option because the research work requires a fairly restricted range of practical skills while having a large range of subject matter. Rest is based on your interests.

Thank you.
which is better bsc bioinformatics or bsc food technology
If we consider the job market of today, then a person having Informatics skills will be valued at a much higher rank than a person who has a food technology degree. Moreover, after getting your B.Sc in Bioinformatics you can apply for jobs in government services like forensics laboratory, crime department of police, CBI etc.
There is an increasing demand of people with Bioinformatics skills nowadays, from drug discovery to solving cases, they are everywhere. So, it would be a wise decision to go for Bioinformatics rather than Food Technology.
Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
