I did my bsc genetic from ignou, can i do msc bioinformatics from DU
Dear aspirant !
Hope you are doing great ,yes you can pursue msc bio- informatics after bsc genetic but for that you need to fulfill the given criteria.
- Students must have cleared 10+2 or an equivalent qualification from any board with an aggregate of more than 50% of the marks in exams.
- Students must have taken Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Maths as the major subjects in class 12th...
Also its admission process is not so easy ,you have to crack the entrance exam which is slightly tough ,it is. A 2 year course and your exam will happen semester wise ,fees of the course can be differ from 1 lakh to 4 lakh . Hence work hard for it now and do rock.

Thanking you!!
Have a great day!!!
im in class 12th with BSEB board and looking forward for bioinformatics course in any govt colleges of patna in session 2022-23 also want to know about some schlorship exams please text me back
Bioinformatics is a multidisciplinary course and it is one of the most in demand course in India and abroad.
There are no colleges in Patna which offer UG course in Bioinformatics but there are a couple of colleges which offer PG courses in Bioinformatics.
1) Patna university: PG diploma in Bioinformatics
2) Central University of South Bihar: MSC in Bioinformatics
There are few colleges in India which offer Bachelors in bioinformatics which you can surely look at:
1) Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala
2) DY Patel University, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra
3) Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu
The admission to these universities is one the basis of entrance exams like GATE.
In terms of scholarship, you can get university specific scholarship.
suggest me some futuristic subjects to do ms in corona pandemic GENETICS IMMUNOLOGY RECOMBINANT DNA TECHNOLOGY BIOINFORMATICS MEDICAL BIOTECHNOLOGY ENZYME TECHNOLOGY VACCINE BIOLOGY GENETIC ENGINEERING DRUG DESIGN DEVELOPMENT CANCER BIOLOGY VIROLOGY STEM CELL BIOLOGY PATHOLOGY PHARMABIOTECH
Hello Student
According to me in the situation of corona pandemic you have to study in MS specialisation Genetic immunology, pathology, Virology, vaccine biology, bioinformatics, drug design development, cancer biology, genetics, recombinant DNA, stem cell biology.
This will help.
I want to get in vit or any government college for btech bioinformatics course please suggest some best college
Hello, Aspirant.
Below are the top colleges for admission in Bioinformatics Scope:
Hope this helps!
which is better for MSc or difference between biotechnology or bioinformatics
Hello aspirant,
I hope you are doing well and good.
Both the fields of MSc biotechnology and bioinformatics are equally from job and earning prospective. Both thr courses has equal opportunities and have their priorities , i will suggest you to go for that field in which you are interested.
Goodluck!!!!!!
Bsc in bioinformatics good colleges abroad, less expensive. Please suggest some??.... And their admission procedures??

Is there any companys founder a bioinformatics ??
HI aspirant, opportunities for high-paying and rewarding bioinformatics careers are growing. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, jobs in computer-based analysis are projected to grow 15 percent by 2029, with the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology fields leading the way.
Certain companies operating within the bioinformatics industry provide v arious software packages to analyze and interpret biological data whereas some provide instrumentation and supplies for various biological analyses and researches.
Thank You.
Would I be learning app development in bsc in bioinformatics?? Please tell me what can I develop after learning bsc in bioinformatics???
Hello Candidate
A bioinformatics software developer works on the development of the existing software and the tools related to it. The developer is expected to have analytical skills as well as good communication skills. They must be creative in their work to be able to create new tools and new algorithms. Initially, the software developer needs to have good knowledge of essential hard skills such as SQL and Python. Companies that are responsible for building computational tools mainly hire a bioinformatics software developer as well.
To become a software developer of bioinformatics, one needs to have good knowledge in the field of biology and computer science. Individuals with a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in bioinformatics, biostatistics, biology, and computer science can opt for such an option.
Hope this helped you,
Do bioinformaticians cure any disease? or they just do research on that? (Bsc Bioinformatics)
Hello Candidate
BIO INFORMATICIANS helps making the drug discovery stages easy which inturn helps the diseased people to get the right medication at the reasonable cost with less side effects
you can find a career in pharmacogenomics which is a combination of the science of drugs as well as the study of genes. It mainly studies the response of drugs applied to an individual while the genes are causing an impact. For instance, very recently, pharmacogenomics has been used in the case of HIV patients. The patient’s genetic variations are tested and kept under observation to check the impact of the genes on their drug response.
Both bioinformatics and pharmacogenomics are related to each other. They both help in reducing the cost borne by pharmaceutical companies through their studies and research outcomes. The bioinformatician provides the required software tools and database, which are used in pharmacogenomics to design and develop drugs and develop processes related to them. Hence, an expert in bioinformatics can further study and work on pharmacogenomics. There are degree courses on pharmacogenomics and drug development available in many colleges in India.
hope this helped you.
GOOD LUCK!!
