i am a Neet UG aspirant from Dungarpur, Rajasthan so can i get a medical seat in BJ medical College ahemdabad Gujarat ? if yes, how much marks i have to obtain in Neet UG examination ? (i am from general category)
how many marks are required by sc category students to get a good government medical College in Maharashtra as my scores are ranging from 520-540 in mock.??? As my favourite one is bj government medical College.
Hello Aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you are getting 520-540 in mock tests of NEET so it is expected that you might get around 550 in NEET actual. So on such marks and category you have good chances of getting Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, and College of Nursing, Pune according to previous year's (2019) cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that in 2019 the lowest cut-off marks was 460 for Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, and College of Nursing, Pune under state quota for SC category and we saw an increase of around 25-30 marks in institutional cut-offs in 2020. So if you are targeting for NEET 2021 then your aim should not be less than 515 out of 720 marks especially for Government medical colleges in Maharashtra.
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

Hi
It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get seat or not as cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.
But when we go through previous data then
In
neet 2019, 460 marks for sc category got a seat in Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College, Pune under Maharashtra state quota
So, with 491 marks yes you have chance for getting a seat in Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College, Pune
You also have chances in following Government Medical College with 491 marks being from SC category under Maharashtra state quota:-
*Government Medical College and Hospital, Jalgaon
*Government Medical College and Hospital, Baramati

Sir, with NEET SCORE OF 406 BELONGING TO ST CATEGORY OF RANK 178067 IN MAHARAHTRA,CAN I GET BJ OR NAGPUR GMC?
Sorry but there are very less chances that you might get a seat in that college as cutoffs are generally higher and you have to score above 450+marks in your category to be on the safer side and get a seat but do apply for the counselling and hope for the best.

If I am getting 571 or 576 in Neet 2020, do i have a chance in gmc nagpur, igmc nagpur or bj pune through obc category (85% state quota) ?
The cutoff for last year for your category in
- gmc nagpur was 580
- igmc nagpur was 570
- bj Pune was 560
So you are eligible to get admission in igmc and bj but not eligible for gmc nagpur according to last year cutoffs.

Which college should i choose either BJ medical college, Ahmedabad (State quota) or AIIMS jammu...(other All India college).. If Im eligible for both
You haven't mentioned your score or the Category that you belong to. Compared to 2019, the NEET 2020 cut offs have changed considerably higher than expected. With the top score being 720 which is 19 marks greater than 2019's top score, it is difficult to predict chances. But if you are asking about the comparison, you need to know that BJ Medical College is one of the oldest Medical Colleges while AIIMS has it reputation as the best research Medical centers. But because AIIMS Jammu is comparatively new to BJ, the infrastructure might be still evolving while BJ has already the best set up with acclaimed faculty. So if you can get BJ Medical College we think you should opt for it. But again, it is your call.
