I'm Here to help you regarding your concern towards placements in BMS institute of technology.                                                                   Generally, based on previous year statistics, the placement for civil engineering is around 93% in total. So it means out of 100 students 93 of them got placed. And, when you talk about core branches, like Computer science and engineering, it was around 90.9% and in Electronics and communication engineering it is 83.1% and 100 in EEE. So, the placements in Mechanical aren't that good here and whereas as per your query, Civil engineering graduates have a higher scope of getting placed. So, be patient and choose the best among.

Hello Rupesh, last year the closing rank for admission for general category in ECE was 607 and for Karnataka state students was 4574. So you can check your rank and see if it falls in above catogries
