Placements:

Placements in this college are pretty good compared to other colleges as it is the sister branch of main BMSCE college. The average salary package offered ranged between 6 to 7 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was around 4 LPA and the highest salary package went up to 27 LPA. CSE and ISE departments are the best for placements.

Infrastructure : The infrastructure of the college is pretty good. The college is known for its greenery and has more than 10,000 species of trees on campus. The college has fantastic labs and research labs. Classrooms are spacious and proper ventilated. It is also good for sports like basketball, badminton, volleyball, football etc.

Faculty : All teachers in the college are either PhD or postgraduate with good knowledge and years of teaching experience. They provide us with notes, and we are free to ask our doubts. Project-based learning is also involved, and we have to prepare for innovative and case study concepts and questions.

Hostel:The hostel life at bmsit is very good. When you get used to it, feels like home. However, just like other hostels the food is not very good. Also playground and gym facilities are available to refresh the students from studying. This is all the information that I could provide. Rest you will experience when you actually visit there.

Considering the previous year cut off rank list for BMS Institute of Technology and Management Bangalore according to COMEDK, the closing rank to get admission here is 10928 in 2018 and 13058 in 2017. You are eligible to get admission in BMS institute of technology, Bangalore in your interested course Computer science and engineering. As per previous year statistics, you might get it in round 2 as it is not possible to get in round 1. Since the closing rank for round 1 CSE is 15,800 and round 2 is 20,200.

So, be patient and stay relaxed and attend the counselling sessions without fail and sometimes you can have chances to get into some other too colleges too.

I'm Here to help you regarding your concern towards placements in BMS institute of technology.                                                                   Generally, based on previous year statistics, the placement for civil engineering is around 93% in total. So it means out of 100 students 93 of them got placed. And, when you talk about core branches, like Computer science and engineering, it was around 90.9% and in Electronics and communication engineering it is 83.1% and 100 in EEE. So, the placements in Mechanical aren't that good here and whereas as per your query, Civil engineering graduates have a higher scope of getting placed. So, be patient and choose the best among.
