- The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and also has been accredited 'A' grade by NAAC. The college is also ranked at 157th position among engineering colleges by NIRF.
- The college has the facilities like boys hostel, girls hostel, gym, library, cafeteria, medical/hospital, wifi, transport, alumni association, bank facilities etc.
- Talking about the placements, a B.E./B.Tech student gets a average package of 3.50 Lakhs.
- As per the students reviews, this college is one of the best.
Sir M Visvesvaraya Insteitute of Technology :
- The college is a private engineering college and was eshtablished in the year 1986. The college campus is about 133 acres with 177 faculties.
- The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and also has been accredited 'B++' grade by NAAC.

- As far as the placement goes, a B.E./B.Tech gets a average package of 3.78 Lakhs.
- As per the student reviews, the college is quite good with its average infrastructure.
Now according to me, BMS Institute of Technology and Management is the best option when compared with Sir M Visvesvaraya Insteitute of Technology. The former has better infrastructure, better recognition and placements are also good. Oppurtunities for ECE will be better in BMSITM.
You can also go through the below mentioned links and checkout the details about both the colleges -

Good Luck !!!
In bmsit ISE or ECE which one is best?? And also in bmsit and CMRIT which one is best for ISE or ECE.
Actually its very good.
19.7lacs was the package given out. Highest ever.
Avg package is around 7-6lacs which is great.
Even Cse guys were able to take up to 16 lacs only,Which is obviously less than ECE.
BMSIT is great in terms of placement.
Feel free to ask me in the comment box if you are having any further doubts
hope you find it helpful
Good Luck!
In rnsit and bmsit which i have to choose for cs in engineering
By considering each and every factor like faculty, infrastructure and placement.
For computer science BMSIT is much more better than RNSIT.
Because as per the career360 college prediction
BMSIT ranks AAAA and where as RNSIT ranks AAA+.
Good luck
Which college is better bmsit or mvit both for CS branch
Both BMSIT and MVIT are almost equal in many aspects so you can join any of the two colleges. Although BMSIT has a better campus when compared to MVIT. Placements in both colleges is average and you would get placed in any of the two if you maintain good CGPA.
Faculties of both colleges are almost same and you get better social life in BMSIT.
So, I would suggest you to join any college in which you get your preferred branch and which is near you.
Hope you a great college life ahead.
How is the placement for bnmit ece ??
Hello,
BNMIT is a reputed college in Bangalore.
The placements in general have been pretty decent and I must say that CSE and ISE are the branches that are most sought after. ECE comes next. The number of core companies that visit BNMIT is less. This is true in case of most of the colleges in Bangalore. However, the placement cell ensures that all the eligible students get the required opportunities through on campus, off campus and pool campus events.
There are quite a few guys from BNMIT at Nokia and other top companies. Feel free to reach out to alumni. Most of them will be willing to help you get a job.
Thanku.
Should i opt for EIE in DSCE or should i opt for ECE in BMSIT??
1]- DSCE IN BETTER IN TERMS OF PLACEMENT THAN BMSIT.
2] - BMSIT IS VERY FAR AWAY FROM MAIN CITY OF BANGLORE, HENCE DSCE IS BETTER IN TERMS OF LOCATION [UNLESS YOU STAY IN HOSTEL]
3] THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN EIE AND ECE IN INDIA.
HOPE MY ANSWER HELPS
I got cse in nitte minakshi is it best college then bmsit I want to know that is there any specialization course happen in college
Hello Dharmendar,
I understand your concern and I am here to help you regarding your query !!
So, both tge colleges which you have mentioned are the top most colleges in Karnataka and i would personally recommend you BMS Institute of Technology. Because, it has got a wonderful infrastructure and placements. The faculty are very friendly and helps you in everything. The packages are high in this college and anyways, it all depends on your performance in the interview. Yes, there are a few specializations here and do visit the Colleges and then decide between them according to your needs, etc.., Nitte Meenakshi is also good and it's okd College whereas BMS is located in the heart of Bangalore and all tye companies are around, so you get better industrial exposure and internships too.

How is the hostel life at bmsit Bangalore?
Hello. The hostel life at bmsit is very good. When you get used to it, feels like home. However, just like other hostels the food is not very good. Also playground and gym facilities are available to refresh the students from studying. This is all the information that I could provide. Rest you will experience when you actually visit there. Good luck.
Which of the college would be better for cse :bmsit or sit
Hi dear,
Hope you are doing well!
Now let's go through your question.
It is no doubt that BMS is one of the best colleges in Bangalore. And the professors in CSE department are very friendly (only if you keep them happy with certain marks) and if you don't get marks still you have knowledge then you may get detained. But I'll suggest to have minimum of 70% just to be safe for placements and further studies.
They will give you a lot of opportunities but again it's up to you to utilize them. There are internships and training programs but again there's a catch. They will ask you to pay for every training they provide apart from you regular fee.
And if by chance you are thinking to take admission by management quota, then please come with loaded pockets.
At last, most important thing is placement Many companies visit BMSIT campus and recruit students from CSE department. Around 95% students from CSE are placed few students go for higher studies and few students don't get placed because they don't have skills or required cut off marks to sit for aptitude.
SIT has also a decent CSE department. They are given pretty good exposure to the coding competition and internships no of companies visiting for placements is also Good.
Thank You & All the best!
