Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is a newly added course in the college curriculum. The total intake of students in this course is 120. In second round the cut offs for BNM Institute of Technology went to 13812 so you have very tough chance to get seat in Electronics and Communication Engineering in the third round so it is better to lock your choice to Don Bosco Institute of Technology. This year the cut offs fluctuated a lot in the counselling procedure.

According to me CSE branch is better than information science branch as it is a bit more popular and well known.But the placements and the teaching of both the colleges is decent.The infrastructure and the facilities provided are also good.In the end you should choose the one you have interest in as the syllabus of CSE and Information Science is different.

SJBIT, CMR has AAA rating in the field of Engineering while BNMIT has AAA+ rating in engineering. For CSE, BNMIT is better than both of these even in placement ranking as BNMIT has 77% placement in the CSE field which is the highest if compared to other branches.
