Does simply registering for 12th board exam and not appearing in it count as an appearance? I was supposed to appear in my board exams in 2022, I even got admit card but didnt appear in 2022,instead Ill be appearing in 2023, will that effect my jee advanced 2024 eligibility as appearing yr matters
Hello Aspirant,
No, just by simply registering for the 12th boards doesn't mean that you have appeared for the examination. Until your marksheet is generated till that time your attempt won't be counted as an attempt.
So if you are planning to give your 12th in 2023 then your two more attempts will be in the year 2024 and 2025 and for jee advanced there will be one more attempt in the year 2024.
I have passed eleventh standard but will not be able to take board exams this year due to medical issues. Can I take direct admission in class 12 next year (open schooling is also an option) or will I have to repeat class 11th?
Hello aspirant,
Yes, it is feasible to enrol in class 12 after finishing your 11th grade coursework and taking a year off. You can resort to government schools if CBSE schools won't let you enrol since they will undoubtedly do so.
Additionally, you can complete your 12th grade as a private candidate through the NIOS, or National Institute of Open School, if you do not want to apply as a Regular candidate.
They might inquire as to why you took the break, so you'll want to have a good answer re ady.
thank you
hope this information helps you
i have scored below 75% in my board exams and i uave scored 97% in my jee mains can i take partial drop or not?
Hello Aspirant,
If you have secured below 75% then you are not eligible for jee mains and advanced even if you score above 97 percentile in jee mains.
- Candidates should pass from any recognised board or University.
- Candidates should opt for physics chemistry and mathematics as mandatory subjects in their class 12th.
- Candidates should secure a minimum of 75 percentage in their class 12th.
So you should definitely take a drop and give your 12th exams again and secure the minimum percentage atleast .
i secured 90 marks in tseamcet and i got 96% in board exams, can i get seat in osmania University and my category is sc ?
Hello,
75:25 weightage is given to determine your rank. And 25% weightage is for marks scored in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in first and second year intermediate. You have not mentioned the marks scored out of 600. And it is difficult to predict the cut off as cut off depends on number of candidates appeared, number of seats available and difficulty of exam. And your rank cannot be predicted as it depends on number of candidates appeared, marks score in EAMCET, IPE, local/non-local status etc. You can expect your rank to be around 20000. Based on 2019 cut off you may get seat in Biomedical Engineering in Osmania University, Hyderabad. Your actual rank may change depending on the above mentioned factors.
