what is the syllabus of msc biotechnology of amu? how should we prepare? what was the cut off? is it tough to get admission for external students? how many seats are there? what book should be used?
Hi there,
The subjects from which the examination paper will be designed:
- Chemistry
- Botany
- Zoology
- Elementary Mathematics
The examination is based on MCQs with 120 questions each of 1 mark. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer so better to nark correct options with sincereity and focus.
You can simply prepare from the textbooks or from previous years papers. Conceptum and several other books are also there from which you can practise.
The admisisons for external students might be difficult becausethere are various reservations are there in AMU through which the cutoff for external student increases. But donot worry, prepare well.
Thank you and good luck:)

Dear aspirant,
Yes, the books mentioned by you is more than enough but kindly see that you don't jump from one book to another without even completing it because that would create more trouble and confusion in your mind.
Try to be more conceptually strong rather than just practicing sums from every book available in the market.
But if you manage to complete these books in the given time then you would be definitely get what you want.
Im currently preparing for DUET M.Sc Zoology from Dr. Anita Sehgal (Unique Publishers) but I want something which contains only DUET M.Sc previous year questions. Is there any Book available with DUET M.Sc Zoology PYQs? Please do mention if it is available on any online shopping platforms.

So your decision for taking the BTech courses in Vellore Institute of Technology is right. After Taking admission in Vellore Institute of Technology if you observe that the result of Neet ug exam is good enough for you to get a good Government Medical College then you should leave the Vellore Institute of Technology B.tech seat and join the Government Medical For MBBS seat.

I am state board student want to prepare for NEET examination. How can I read english NEET book?I am not so good in english.
Hi Swati, fear not even if you're not very good at English. Keep your eye on your sole objective that is to prepare for the NEET examination. So, what you could do is divide your time effectively into the topics you find easier first and are much aware about. Relating to the English part, you shall automatically get through the words because you have a good grasp over these subjects and it's topics.
Secondly, grow on to subjects that you find a bit difficult. For these subjects, you could also seek help through you tube materials available in Hindi for your clear understanding. Then you could easily go upon through the words again as in the previous part.
Pro tip:- Don't fear English, make it your good friend. Try reading every word by word since you're not good at the moment. This would help you understand better through your course contents and solutions. Also, you can keep handy with yourselves a English to Hindi dictionary or even U-dictionary app in you phone, in that case. With practising of these few habits, you shall automatically gain confidence and prepare well for your exams ahead.
Hope this helps.
Wish you a great journey ahead.
