Ofcourse, it is possible. A little effort and hardwork is all that matters. Develop your skills in the field you are in, as many IT Companies are now looking for skills in the candidate rather than professional degree from reputed colleges. 

BPO jobs are available for candidates who have finished diploma, with a little starting income. The income increment depends on your capacity of work. 

Also, develop extra skills in computer, as that might benefit you later.

You have to go for some job related sites like naukri.com, indeed.com and other .Update your skill and qualification there and apply for BPO jobs directly. In few days some consultant will hire you after taking  on call basic interview wit you .

For BPO type job basic thing is English speaking . You should be english fluent to become a BPO executive. In begining they have a training period of 1 month, In that they will teach you about basics How to communicate with clients , thier centres and shifts with differnt timings.

But do not stick to BPO jobs for a longer period.

A very few may get moved as leads then manager and so on. Take this as an good opportunity to learn something new (as u don't carry work back home) and move on with career which you like and want to peruse.

You should have good communication skills. You can directly go for an interview in BPO's as there is a walk in interview process mostly.

Dear Shanthi, there is no course as such that you need to study for a job in a BPO. There are 3 kinds of jobs in a BPO. Voice, Semi-voice and Non-voice. For Voice based BPO jobs, you should have a neutral accent so that your non-Indian clients can understand your English. You should not have a hangover of your mother tongue when you speak in English. That is called Mother Tongue Influence. Your communication skills should be good. You might have to take a Versant test for few companies wherein you repeat what the IVR says and answer the IVR. So you should be understood by an IVR to clear the test. In such cases, you will need good communication and grip over vocabulary and grammar. You should be spontaneous because you are not given too much time to answer the IVR. Most soft skill institutes that promise you placements actually teach you the same. Nonvoice is all about typing. You needn't have to talk over the phone with your clients. The communication is through Chats, Emails and other non-verbal ways. Semi voice is a mix of both Voice and Nonvoice. For Voice based jobs, companies hire candidates with 10+2 while few companies prefer graduates. Based upon the project that you are being hired for, you might have to be either a Science or Commerce Graduate. It is always good to have at least a Bachelor's degree. This helps when you are applying for internal promotions.

To be honest, BPOs don't ask for degrees. Even a minimum high school graduate can too apply for BPO sector jobs. 

One needs good communication skills alongwith the ability to gel along with people quickly. You must have good convincing skills to be able to perform nicely at your job. 

Alongwith these, your language skills matter a lot, the more languages you know the better chances you have! Here, English and Hindi are mandatory languages. 

BPOs high great number of people. You can check the vacancies online. Keep applying and do well in the interviews and you'll surely get hired!
