BBa or B.com. I Love marketing a lot and Advertisement and branding love. Should I choose any other course.

If you want to pursue your career in marketing field then you can go for MBA in marketing. B.Com/BBA both are the good options, the only difference is B.Com is your degree program whereas BBA comes under professional courses and after doing anyone of them you can go for MBA. And according to me better to go for BBA then MBA but also consider your interest and potential before choosing the same.
Decide wisely.

What is the basic qualification required to apply as a brand manager? Do we have to clear any entrance exam to become a brand manager?

Preference is given to students with master degree in marketing. For this you will have to clear management entrances so that you can apply for MBA in various institutions. Also students with bachelors apply apply for this post at a senior level but are most likely to not get selected because of lack of practicality. Percentage is not a problem if you have done the course with a good institute and excellent academic performance. Also work experience may give you a hike pay wise.

You should have the following skills to become a brand manager. Firstly, Know about the brand/product and how much it is appropriate for the use of customers. Second, You should have the courage to make decisions, implement those taking your team along with your decision. Third, People work with people and for people. Therefore you should be able to influence others to take forward your project. Fourth, You should be unique. Able to think differently and nominatively. Fifth, Being proactive guarantees that a brand is never characterized by somebody outside the organization, and deduction ahead requires informativeness and advancement. So you should have proactive stand and actions. these are the skills required overall.

Brand managers play an important role in driving the organization growth. Brand managers make sure that the brand promise is fulfilled. The role involves in brand strategy planning and execution and has to ensure a balance is maintained between marketing, promotions and brand reachouts. They have to deploy strategies to create an emotional connection between brands and customers as they play a huge role in improvement of brand engagement. In other words brand managers define, position and deliver the brand.
