As computer science engineering is basically a little easier than electronics communication engineering. Because ece is basically depends on technical and core . So having a core branch is not easy task to deal with. Otherwise both are equivalent good sector. By opting ece you have more government fields to apply. And with the help of cse you can get the placement easily. As most of the software companies visit the private institutions whereas there are less core companies visit the college.

So , think before choosing the branch and analyse your interest so that you will not feel any regret.

As per your rank is concerned I would like to tell you that you have more chances to get sgsits Indore. Th branch that you will get here is Electronics, electrical or mechanical branch depending upon your rank in the list.

Some conditions are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

I would advise you to kindly keep other private colleges as a backup such as VIT Vellore, SRM University, Manipal University, BITS Pilani.

Congratulations for securing high rank. Yes you will get admission for this rank for cse branch in main campus chennai. Cse closing rank is around 9000. So yes definitely you will get admission. SRM is good in case of placement infrastructures facilities etc. VIT is comparatively less costly.when we come to ranking VIT is top 18 where SRM is 36.  Both offer good placements. In case of research and all vit is good.
