If you are planning to do MBA from IIMs or other renowned colleges then specialization doesn't matter they will shape you in a way that will make you stand out in a corporate world. They will offer you 30+ courses that will cover every area of HR, finance, business analytics, strategy, etc. Looking at the changing demands of industries, one must be good enough to survive in any environment keeping this in mind these colleges make you competent enough to achieve the demands.

Getting placed completely depends on the number of internships you have done and how you have spent the 2 years of post-graduation. It does depend on your past background.

Well doing B.Com from a good and a reputed college might get you a job by the end of your undergraduate education but that's not the case in India that much. If you plan to go abroad for both education and job then the chances might be higher for you to get a decent job with good salary but in India limited opportunities are available only after undergraduate studies and further studies and experience will be needed to end up with a good job with good salary.
