Best of Luck!!
which are the stream/ branches in mba.......??? is there is branch i.e. mba in business management????
Hi Ritik,
MBA offered by different universities have different specializations. But in general, all these revolve around 5 major branches which are:
- Finance
- Human Resources (HR)
- Marketing and Sales
- Operations
- Information Technology (IT).
Now the top B. Schools (eg IIMs) do not offer you an MBA degree but a PGDM however that doesn't mean any of them are less good. Several universities offer specialized MBA (eg MBA in Business Analytics, MBA in Healthcare Management, MBA in Event Management) but do remember these are not general MBA streams and try to refrain from such colleges.
All in all, the above-mentioned 5 are the actual niche of MBA offered by any top Business School.
Hope this was helpful.
