Is it so that if we learn java/python/c programming we can also sit with cs/it students in placement?? Im an EC student
Hi.
Let me clear you one thing first, every college has a minimum CGPA Requirement for every student to be able to sit in the placement drive taking place in-college (usually 7 CGPA). If you manage to secure that, then you are eligible to sit in any interview if you possess the desired skill set.
Let's say if you see a placement offering for a software engineering which requires JAVA/Python/C++ then irrespective of your current branch you will be able to sit in the interview.
If you have a further specific question, please feel free to ask.
Good Luck
Why people refer C programming language to start ?
.
Look, C Language is not at all suggested to take a start with. There will be a process of learning programming languages. And C is not at all suggested by any of the institute/coaching classes as a basic learning.
.
C Language and C++ are 2 complicated languages, you can't even understand if you take them as basic learner, They are much complicated.
.
Now why is it more important?, nope it's not important, now C language is just a need, there was a time when the generation was developing and C was used. Now it's totally different, python is the language which is most famous and easiest language to learn.
.
C is useful and famous but most complicated and difficult Language to learn. So C is not suggested for basic learners.C is used in the development of kernels of os
