Individuals with presentable skills, proficiency in English and a foreign language including height of more than 5'2 are preferred for the role. The airlines itself provides the training to individuals for the role of cabin crew.

Requirements to be a cabin crew :
Fluent English
Passionate for delivering excellent service on every occasion
Being trustworthy and reliable
Being correct and precise in their job
Proactively seek solutions and take personal responsibility for resolving problems
Be willing and able to work shifts
Minimum age of 18 or 21, depending on the airline
Minimum height of 158cm or 160cm, depending on the airline
Being able to swim
No visible tattoos or body piercings while wearing the uniform
No criminal record
Right to live and work in that country you will be based at or being able to get a working visa in that country
Have a healthy BMI
Minimum high school education
Have a valid Passport
DGCA (the Indian regulatory authority which is responsible for regulatory and safety oversight of Indian aviation, and a lot more), specifies that Cabin Crew need to be trained on the Specific type of aircraft they work on. This is called Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP) training and is specific to a particular type of aircraft (For example, Cabin Crew with SEP card from Go Air can join Indigo without a full training again because both the airlines operate the same type of aircraft-A320 but crew with a SEP card on ATR-72/Q-400 of Jet/Spice Jet cant have to get trained afresh on A320 if joining Indigo or Go Air by that airline), this training deals with crew understanding of aircraft, response in case of emergency etc. , which is the primary duty of the cabin crew. A SEP card is issued to the crew after they pass the exams after this training only after which they can fly. You can do courses from:

In this, you will have no need to attend the regular classes and can access the study material for the course. You need to just submit assignments and appear for the examination. • You have to be fluent at least in one common language which the company demands you to speak. English is a must, you should be very fluent in english then you'll have good chance of being selected
• Being polite, friendly & humble are those qualities which they look for in the candidates during the interview.
• Keep your posture upright and your body language should be appropriate. You have to confident and your expressions should match your body language.
• Have an outstanding resume .
• Your attire should be professional, formals are preferred.
• Keep an eye connection with the interviewee while interacting with them.
• Be relevant to the questions & do not lie.

Having a cabin crew course or aviation course  is a positive side for the resume point of few but  it doesn't ensure ones job .Every Airlines train their crew as a fresher whether you have done the course or not .Also if one has done the course then it will be more comfortable for him/her to join unlike the others . If you have chance to join any course you can as it will help you during the training of the work.

The minimum qualification required to become a Flight Steward & Cabin Crew is Intermediate or graduation. There are various institutes in India offers diploma course after 12th in the field of Aviation. Some of the airlines also provide 3 to 6 month training.
