is calculus enough from NCERT maths i can solve each and every question of NCERT i am a dropper and will give jee 2022
Hello Aspirant,
Calculus is the most important part of the mathematics section in JEE Main paper. It covers around 40% of the total questions. IN indefinite integration learn the standard formulae which could only be achieved by the rigorous practice of question. So NCERT would not be sufficient for this purpose.
You can go through the different books, Following are the list of books you can look for help,
- Cengage for calculus
- Kosmic publication mathematics volume 2
- R.D Sharma
Hope this information is helpful
Good luck
Is Russian calculus book good for jee?
Hello,
You can use Calculus by IA Maron ( Russian Author )
IA Maron book is one of the top Calculus book.
This book is good both for Differential C alculus and Integral Calculus. It inc lude various kind of problems, with full explanations and illustrations. The questions are arranged in the order of increasing difficulty so that you can master them easily.
so we can say that Russian calculus book is good for jee!
But talking about the competitive nature and difficulty level of this exam, you need to refer some standard reference books of JEE Main and previous year questions too for calculus to crack this exam.
here are some other reference books you can use:
- Differential Calculus by Amit M Agarwal (Arihant Publications .
- Integral Calculus by Amit M Agarwal (Arihant Publications)
hope this helps
All the best!
Do I need calculus for masters in neural and congnative sciences?
Dear,
Many neuroscientists don’t know any calculus or physics! They tend to be the ones who come from psychology, medicine, biology, and biochemistry backgrounds. If you have the time and inclination, I’d recommend focusing on linear algebra, differential equations, statistics, and maybe basic electrodynamics and electronics. If you eventually become a neuroscience researcher you’ll have a better idea of what your lab expects of you. General-purpose preparation can only take you so far. Alternatively, identify the particular kinds of questions and techniques you are interested in, and then see what background knowledge is necessary. While many branches of neuroscience use a lot of math, most have significant areas which are decidedly non-mathematical. There is one exception: neuroengineering.
Hope this helps!
Give me the solution of BSC MATHS SEM I ( Differential Calculus) Jammu university
There are no official solutions available online regarding the Mathematics sem-I for Jammu University. So we can't provide you the solution as you have expected. I would recommend you to contact your seniors or your HOD in order to get such document if available.
I hope you understand. Have a great day!
which is best book for calculus specially for indefinite and definite integration maths which contains both concept and mains level sums not adv lvl as I dont have time to do them. so please suggest me n also tell me that ms Chouhan organic che is an objective book or conceptual book??
Dear student,
There are many special books for Calculus Maths. But if you go for such a book then you will find so much content in it . You will find such topics, that don't come even in JEE Mains and JEE Advance. So never go for that book. Just choose that book, that contains relevant topics as per your exam. So you can go for ' Mathematics by Cengage' book for JEE Mains. It has good theory and good problems for calculus. Alongwith it, you can also solve RD Sharma Objective Maths.
MS Chauhan Organic Chemistry is a good book to prepare for both JEE Mains and JEE Advance. It is a conceptual book. It contains proper theory and good problems. But if you want only numerical problems book for organic, then you can go for Organic Chemistry by SKM. This is also a good book.
Hope this helps.
can u plz tell me the order to follow of calculus part in class 12 since I had not stated them yet. actually I was confused so plz tell me, can I follow ncert order given to calculus
Hi
Yes, you need to follow the sequence or the order of the chapters under calculus as given in the NCERT because they are sequenced in proper way and if you don't follow that sequence you won't be able to move to the next chapter as one chapter is linked to the other.
For example , without doing the chapter integrals you cannot move to application of integrals
So you need to follow the given below sequence for calculus:-
- Continuity and differentiability
- Application of Derivative
- Integrals
- Application of integrals
- Differential equation
Calculus carries the highest weightage in your board examination so Go well through Calculus and the calculus is not that easy, so you'll have to give it time and practice a lot
I hope that you find this helpful
Thankyou
how many question comes from algebra in jee advanced without studing the calculus
Hello Aspirant,
See it is quite difficult to help you out with the exact number of questions coming from any particular because it can change as per the total marks of the paper which which is subject to change every year but yes we can help you out with the approximate weightage of Algebra part in JEE-Advance on the basis of previous years analysis so if you are considering only for algebra without wither differential or integral calculus then it will take around 11-12% total weightage in paper of JEE-Advance. From Algebra you have to prepare some important topics such as Algebra of complex numbers, addition, multiplication, conjugation, polar representation, properties of modulus and principal argument, triangle inequality, cube roots of unity, geometric interpretations, Quadratic equations with real coefficients, relations between roots and coefficients, formation of quadratic equations with given roots, symmetric functions of roots. Arithmetic, geometric and harmonic progressions, arithmetic, geometric and harmonic means, sums of finite arithmetic and geometric progressions, infinite geometric series, sums of squares and cubes of the first n natural numbers. Logarithms and their properties, Permutations and combinations, binomial theorem for a positive integral index, properties of binomial coefficients.

Find the integration of e^(x^2/2)
Hello helloboys2017,
Well, It is pleasant to see such a tricky and Do Not Solve type of question:
We can't actually integrate the functions, as all the examples of type e^(X^2) or e^sinx, e^cos, e^(sin^2(x)) etc... can't be integrated, but still if you need to know how to actually know why they can't be integrated then you can refer to :
One symbolic way to do it is to use infinite series . Since ex=1+x+x22!+x33!+=1+x+x22+x36+ (for all x ), it follows that ex2=1+x2+x42+x66+ (for all x ).
It is valid in this example to now integrate term-by-term (the result is true for all x ):
∫ex2dx=∫(1+x2+x42+x66+)dx
=C+x+x33+x510+x742+ .
Alternatively, you can also give the antiderivative a name. Wolfram Alpha writes the antiderivative whose graph goes through the origin as √π2erfi(x) , where erfi(x) is called the "imaginary error function".
Good Luck, and keep learning...
Hope this helps, and feel free to ask any further query...
