do some hospitals give cars like mercedes, bmw as bonus to doctors?
Hello Aspirant,
I hope that you are doing well.
No hospital offers doctors a BMW or even a free car. They can, however, acquire from their own money.
It depends on the doctor's background and the type of doctor he is. For example, some specialists, such as cardiologists, earn between 2 and 3 lakhs each day, which implies they can easily afford it.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!
Thank you
i have seen that the jobs of cardiologist are offering just 3 or 4 lakh .why is it so low? i heard that they charge 1 lakh per operation.
Hi aspirant,
The amount which you have mentioned is taken by the hospital and not the surgeon himself. Whenever any operations are done it requires several things included in bloods, medicines and other supervisors so how can the hospital pay the complete fee to the surgeon itself . When a surgeon works for a hospital there are two cases that is freelancing and permanent job when he is on permanent job the salary is fixed and the amount it lies between 3 to 5 lacs as you have mentioned. And if he is a freelancer and called for serious patients then he is paid some percentage of the operation but it in this case he is not regularly involved in all the operations conducted in the hospital. Now if a surgeon is very experienced hi can ask for high percentage of money for each operations that maybe in lacs.
Hope it helps!

do cardiologists get a salary or a fixed fee for each procedure
Hi ishaan,
The salary varies with the reputation and city in which the hospital is present. Taking about the slasry of cardiologist, it depends upon the popularity and the status of the hospital. Many surgeons charge a high fees for the surgery and treatment while others donot. It depends upon them.
So, in simple words the salary is not at all fixed, it varies from person to person. Many hospitals have their fees structure for every procedure. Surely the fees varies as per the status of the hospital.
Government hospitals have lower fees for the procedure while private have the highest . It directly makes a hole in the pocket of the pateints.
I hope you understand my point.
Thank you and good luck:)
