My signature got cut in half in CAT admit card. will there be any problem?
Hello Aspirant
Yes, a signature that is cut in half on your CAT admit card should not be a major issue.
The primary concern is that the invigilator can clearly identify your signature and compare it to your official identification documents. You should be allowed to take the exam as long as the remaining portion of your signature is recognizable and matches the signature on your identification.
Still bring multiple forms of identification with clear signatures, such as your passport, driving license, or Aadhaar card. When you arrive at the exam center, inform the invigilator about the partially cut signature. They might have specific instructions or procedures to follow in such cases.
After I downloaded my CAT Admit card, I realised that my signature looks very small in size. And it is written on the admit card that the signature should be readable. So is there anything I can do now or I dont need to worry about it? I am going to bring my passport as signature proof to the test.
Hi Meet,
First of all your admit card is released, this means your application wasn't rejected. I stated this because in entrance examination if any of the documents do not justify the specifications the candidate is notified about it and is asked to correct the document during the correction window is open. If still the document doesnt meet the specification the application is cancelled.
If you have recieved your admit card you can surely give the exam and you need not worry about the signature size as far as the signature is clearly seen even in the small size.
Secondly now you can do nothing about the signature as your admit card is already released.
If you still have doubts about the signature i request you to send an email or contact the authorities over a phone call.
Hope that helps you
My name on the CAT admit card according to 10th marksheet is GUMASTE SANJANA but on the Aadhar card it is Sanjana Gumaste. Is it okay if the order of the name is changed?
Hi aspirant,
It should not be a major issue but it may cause some difficulties. However there is a simple to it, at the time of document verification you can carry a self attested affidavit claiming both the persons are same and it should be supported by relevant documents. It is the best possible and generally accepted solution. So the verification officer in all probability would understand your problem and do the needful.
Also do carry original copies of your Parents document which can be used for matching with the mentioned facts claimed in affidavit.
Hope it helps!!

The signature on my CAT admit card is not clearly visible and the signature will it be a problem on the examination day?
Hi Disha!
Don't worry! It would not be a problem. Just have your other proofs such as ID card, your photocopies and all other related documents.
Just go ahead with your exam!
All the best!
what happens if the signature on my cat admit card is very small? will i be allowed to attend the exam?
See it would not create any difficulty if it could be visible, Carry identity proof and other documents while attending the examination. As your signature is a scanned image, it is understood that it can be small and not visible clearly. Carry supporting documents such as pan card that contain signature. Otherwise no problem.
Hope it would be helpful.
