my son has got 84 percentile in jee main 2022. He got 93.2% ln CBSE board exam 2022. We have EWS category. which branch he will get in your b tech college.
Hello ,
As per your son percentile in jee main it is hard to get IIT or NIT .but he can try for NIT in special round and category mark .but chances to getting top branches are less .
There are alot of factors that effect selection and these are:-
- Numbers of candidates appeared
- . Difficulty level of question paper
- .seat available
- . reserved category
- . category
- .rank obtained
He can easily get admission in state government colleges .and other good colleges like :-
IIITs.
BITs Ranchi
VIT.
Amity University
KIIT UNIVERSITY
BITs,ranchi
College of engineering,Pune
Lovely professional University
Jaipur engineering college
All the best!!
i got 70% in cbse board exam 2022 and got nice marks in jee mains.will i be eligible to get admission in nit this year?? am I qualified ????
Dear student,
Getting admission in any NITs is depends on various factors like:
1- No. of students seeking to take admission
2- No. of seats available in institutes
3- Category of an individual
4- Closing rank which is decided by authority
and many more.
But first of all take a look on eligibility criteria for NITs:
1- Students must must qualify 12th board exam with minimum 75% in board exam with physics, chemistry and mathematics as mandatory subjects
2- Students needs to qualify JEE mains with minimum cut off which is decided by authority.
Cut off trend of previous years JEE mains is mentioned below
- OPEN 84-88
- EWS 68-72
- OBC 70-74
- SC 48-52
- ST 36-42

Admission to any institutes is depends on closing rank, to check closing rank of various NITs click here https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-top-btech-branches
------If you want to know about your ranking, use JEE mains rank predictor tool https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
Considering these data you have low chances for getting into NITs, first you need to get minimum 75% in 12th board.
I hope this info will be useful!

Hi reader ,
There has been no official information regarding the postponement of the CBSE boards exams as of now from the authorities.
the CBSE said that the CBSE Term 2 Board Exam 2022 dates have not been released yet and will be released soon. In the public advisory, the CBSE warned everyone of misleading news, and asked the students to only consult the official website – cbse.gov.in
i hope this helps
