Hi
The rules for getting admission in CBSE are as follows
Admission to Class XII :-
(i) No admission shall be taken in Class XII directly. Provided further that admission to Class XII in a school shall be open only to such a student who:
(a) has completed a regular course of study for class XI; and
(b) has passed Class XI examination from a school affiliated to this Board.
(ii) A student who has completed a regular course of study for Class XI and has passed Class XI Examination from an institution recognised by / affiliated to any recognised Board in India, other than this Board, can be admitted to a school only on the transfer of the parent(s) or shifting of their families from one place to another, after procuring from the student the marksheet and the Transfer Certificate duly countersigned by the Educational Authorities of the Board concerned. In case of such admissions the schools would obtain post facto approval of the Board within one month of the admission of the student.
7.6 Notwithstanding any thing contained in paras 1 to 5 of this Byelaws, the admission of students passing qualifying examination from an examining body outside India shall be regulated according to the provisions contained in byelaw 6.2 of this chapter; provided that the condition of completing regular course of study for class IX and XI is satisfied in cases of admission to Class X and
Class XII respectively.

I also not get the passing certificate of class X which I clear my exam in CBSE board in 2015 what should I do?
Hello,
I hope you're doing well, I see you have a issue with 10th grade results.
- You may ask school administration, about your result, or the passing certificate.
- If they don't respond try reaching out CBSE by their official mail, and wait for their response.
- At last you should visit the board office for better assistance with your issue.
I hope it helped.
Have a nice day.

Hi aspirant,
You need not to worry about this as it is not a very big issue. You can download all your documents and certificates such as 10th marksheet ,12th marksheet and migration certificate online from digilocker. All the documents are digitally signed and approved by government for legitimate use purposes. So you can easily take a print of of it and use for counselling process. Following below is the steps by which you can download these documents from digilocker:
- Visit the DigiLocker website www.digilocker.gov.in (https://digilocker.gov.in/) or download the DigiLocker app on your smartphone
- Click on the link for Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
- Select the documents required
- Login to your account using CBSE registered mobile number and access your documents
- Alternatively, you can use your Aadhaar Card number to log in
- Download it and keep the marksheet and other certificates safe for future reference
Hope it helps!!

Hello aspirant,
I want to inform you that all the documents are compulsary for the admission and you have to show the original and have to submit one xerox copy during your documents verification.
Don't worry you will get it before the document verification it takes a month approx. for the process.
Hopefully I have cleared your doubt.

Are only CET scores considered for issuing a rank or will the rank be issued on the basis of an aggregate of 12th/PUC and KCET scores? Also, will there be any consideration of marks for CBSE board if a rank is issued as an aggregate?
If the total marks were same then first preference was given to maths cet marks next physics and then chemistry
If students got same marks in every subject then preference was given to age difference .Elder one was given first preference
i got 70.11 percentile in jee b arch and my CRL rank is 18552 and i got 84 percentage in cbse board and i belong to sc category.can i get nit
Hello Aspirant,
For a general category student, about 98 percentile is required for the admission in nits as per the previous years result analysis. since NTA have not released the cutoff for this year. we cannot actually predict the cutoff. Students will be provided below the jee Main 2020 paper 2 after the conclusion of counselling process by JoSAA/ CSAB. The cutoff will be in the form of opening and closing rank within which admission will be offered by the institute.
For more information you can visit JEE B.Arch College Predictor
Thanks for connecting to careers360.
i got 70.11 percentile in jee mains exam for b arch and scored 84 percentage in cbse board and i belong to sc category ca n i get nit collage?
Dear Aspirant, in order to get admission in NIT or any other engineering colleges 75% marks in Board exam is required so you have got 84% in board exam so that is cleared by you. But, 70.11 percentile in JEE Mains in SC category is not that much enough to get admission in top ranked NITs but I am providing the college predictor link of Career 360 where you can check.
I hope you are clear now. If you have any other queries feel free to ask. All The Best!!!

I have completed 12th in 2020 in maharashtra state board. I want again do 12th in 2023 from cbse board as a private candidate...whats the procedure to apply?
Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.
If you want to give your 12th boards again in the year 2023 then you have 2 options. Either you again join any school/college from class 11 in 2022 then in 2023 you will be able to give your boards or enroll direct in class 12 and give boards in either 2022 or 2023, here again you have two other option out there. You have to talk to your school/college for the admission process from where you want to give 12th again as every institute has different rules and regulations.
Well if you had done your 12th from any state board then there will not be any issues further. If in future you want to kjoin the IT sector then there's will be problem for you if you have more than 3 year gap in between your 10th passing year and graduation admission year. Hope this will help you.
ALL THE BEST! WORK HARD !!
