I have completed my 10th in cbse board outside Gujarat and doing my 12th in Gujarat cbse board. I am born in Gujarat. Am I eligible for the 85% state quota of Gujarat in NEET ?
Hey,
Yes you are absolutely eligible for the Gujarat state domicile. Anyone who have completed their 12 board studies from a specific state are completely eligible to apply for the state quota of that state.
So I don't think there should be any problem.
All the best.
Thank you.
will i eligible for neet exam because i pass out 12 with pcm in cbse board in 2020 and i applied bio in class 12 in up board in 2020 next year2021 i give exam for bio
Hello Student
According to you ,You are pass out from pcm in cbse and then you chose to sduty bio via the up borad .This means that you are highly passionate towards medical sciences and i really appreciate that. But the criteria for giving the medical entrance is that you should be pass out in Bio ,Physics ,Chem and English with a certain passing marks.
The criteria for giving NEET exam is usually defined as:-
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Candidates who are appearing for the class 12 or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply for NEET 2020.
I Think that you should also apply for English, Physics and Chemistry via the U.P. state board or you should apply for biology via the C.B.S.E. board to be 100% sure.
I wish you all the best and if you want any further info i am always available .
Thank you.
I scored 85% in cbse board 2019-20 with pcm...and my rank in jee mains is 694123 in general category . is I am eligible for participating in josaa counciling?
As you've not mentioned your category,
I'm considering you to be general caste.
As per your rank,
And according to previous year's trends,
Your percentile is almost around 91-93
And this year jee main cut off for general category was 90.3765335
So accordingly you are eligible for josaa counselling.
So hope for the best.

hello.....by mistakenly....my 12 board has filled up board while i qualified by cbse board is there any issue or can it be corrected??in mgkvp entrance form
Hello,
You have to get it corrected as if it is found wrong then your application form will get rejected. visit the help desk of the organizing body. make a call or write mail to suggest you guidelines to correct your form.
there will be no correction window. if it is then make sure to correct it. it is very very important to check out all the details and verify them so that you won't face any issue later.
Hope it helps!
Hii I got 73.3 in class 12 cbse board. now I want to prepare for jee to get admission in iits and nits what can I do now. can anything now can improve my 12 percentage.
Hello there,
scoring 73.3 % in class 12 cbse board shows your preparation for boards wasn't up to the mark.
Moreover, for being able to give JEE mains you need to have a minimum of 75% aggregate in core subjects like PCM.
However, you can give state entrance exams ( depending upon the state in which you live).
For these exams ( or be it any other exam) you must try the following things to improve your score:
1. plan your weeks and months: meaning set targets of completing particular number of chapters by the end of 1 week and then you may take tests on those chapters to know your strengths and flaws.
you may also reward yourself for completing the task assigned and if not completed you can put something very important to you on stake so if the task isn't completed your that favorite thing will be taken away.
2. give as much mock tests you can as these point out your strong and weak points related to the subject/ chapter.
3. do prepare a timetable or better say day to day task assignment which you must complete till the end of the day.
4. you can also use youtube, careers360 and other apps for your preparation they really are very helpful.
5. since your class 12 is over, so now focus only on those chapters that have high weightage and low effort, high weightage high effort and low weightage low effort chapters and make a chart of strong moderate and weak chapters for each subject.
Although getting admission into IITs and NITs seems very difficult for you, still you have chances in many private colleges if you make good use of the time you are left with.
Hope it helps!
ALL THE BEST!

I got 125 out of 720 in neet and belongs to sc category. In cbse board I got 70%. Kya Mein madhaya pradesh ke aiims ke liye eligible hun ya kisi bhi medical government college ke liye eligible hun ? Kya mujhe kisi college mein admission mil sakta hai? Kya Koi possibility hain. Please guide
I'm really sorry to say this, but you have very low marks for getting admission in aiims madhya pradesh..
The expected cuttoff of aims is above 600,either you are from any category but you have very low marks, their is no chance of admission in aiims madhya pradesh..
Even you have no chance of any government college in india ,and a less chance of getting admission in private medical college because you only qualify the neet cutoff score but your score is very low ..
Hope you find this information useful

I got less percentile in jee main ,I should go for 1st round or wait for 2nd round i.e with cbse board in mpdte councelling
Hello Student,
Due to the increasing competition it is important to score higher rank to get into the topo universities. But even with the reservation or any quota like home state quota, the chances of getting into a top university such as BITS are a bit low. Hence, unfortunately the top nits and IITs also would be tough to get into with a low score. Also other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes ( CFTIs) such as the IIITs also would be a bit tough. There might be some chances of you getting into newer NITs such as NIT Andhra Pradesh or NIT Pondicherry into courses that are relatively lesser in demand such as metallurgy.
I suggest you to apply for state colleges or any other private institutions and wait for the second round of counselling alone as it would be a bit risky. There are pretty many good private institutions where you can apply, write the entrance test and get through.
To be on the safer side I would advise you to apply to other colleges as well for taking the courses of your choice.
Some of the universities are:
1. Ssn college in chennai
2. Amrita institution in coimbatore
3. Psg college of engineering in coimbatore
4, cbit college in Hyderabad
5. Vasavi college
6. Sastra deemed to be a university in thanjavur

Please tell me will i need 75% in CBSE Board this year for admission to NITs if yes then, My overall result is 78%. But in PCM only is 69%. So which is considered?
Hello Aspirant,
This year in the wake of COVID-19 Ministry of education announced relaxation in class 12th 75% criteria, means now the student should must have passed class 12th to become eligible for admission to NITs through JEE-Main but note that this relaxation is only for this year not for next year(till now).
From next year the criteria of 75% will be applicable and according to this criteria the candidate must have passed class 12th with minimum of 75% marks overall not particularly in PCM. So if you re having 78% overall marks then you are eligible for JEE-Main.
For more details refer to the link given below :-

However I would recommend you to use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict the chances of your admission in different colleges based upon your percentile and category :-

Good Luck!!
I have studied 5th class to 12th class (CBSE BOARD) in bangalore. 1. I studied in CBSE Board in Bangalore Karnataka. Does my BOARD make any difference my local status 2. I studied Kannada as a language only in academic year in class 5th. So I still have to write Kannada eligiblity test for KCET.
First of all let me tell you board doesn't depend at all.But the school from where you have studied must be within state of Karnataka. The criteria for the eligibility in KCET exam is that the candidates must have passed their class 12 exam or equivalent exams from any boards.Candidates must have physics, mathematics as compulsory subjects along with chemistry/, Biology etc.
Since you have studied in the educational institutions for a minimum of 7 years so there is no problem for admission in government seats. The another criteria states that the candidates should have passed 11th and 12th from school within state of Karnataka.
Hope it helps.
All the best
