If Someone Cleared 12th State Board in 2020 but not got expected mark in boards still attempted NEET 2020 by using state board details. Suppose he did his 11 and 12 again from CBSE board in 2022 and got expected mark and clear NEET 2022.Now how many gap certificate he will have at time of admission?
Hi aspirant
A gap year, also called a sabbatical year, is a semester or a full year break that is taken by a student after completing class 12 before joining an undergraduate degree.
A gap year does not affect your eligibility in NEET. However you do have to submit a certificate signes by a gazetted officer to show what have you done during your gap period.
In your case you have a gap of 2 years and hence you'll have to get a gap certificate of 2 years.
You can get the GAP Affidavit made on a non judicial stamp paper stating the reason why you took a gap year. This stamp paper can be bought from courts, sub-registrar offices and notaries.
Hope this helps you.
All the best :)
I passed my 12th PCB From State Board this year(2022) but not got expected marks still attempted NEET 2022 but not assuming good marks in that also so I want to do 11th and 12th(PCB)again from cbse board for good marks and later on want to use that CBSE certificate for upcoming NEET.Can I Do So?
Hey I passed from cbse board with 95 in maths, 95 in physics, 97 in chemistry, 98 in english. what will be my index mark for admission into st xaviers kolkata for economics. Is this mark enough for getting admission there?
Hello aspirant,
The formula for index calculation in BSc Economics is :
AGGREGATE% + MATHEMATICS% (OUT OF 200) |
So for you the percentage index is: 191.25.
In CBSE the cutoff remains a bit high but you may still get a chance. Wait for the 2nd round if you donot get chance in 1st list. All the best!
i am jee aspirant studying in class 11th preparing for mains. i had cleared my class 10th by cbse board. Can i admission in bihar board now does it create any problem in future. is it better for me and i also want to rank AIR 1 in both main and advance. i am very poor student in study can i.
Hello Aspirant,
If you are planning to take up your senior secondary education from a school affiliated to Bihar Board, it won't do any harm in the future. The only drawback it will have is that, scoring in exams will be difficult. CBSE board is easier as compared to Bihar Board.
It is appreciable that you are serious about your preparation from the start of your journey. Just be consistent throughout your preparation journey and you will achieve your goal. If you are consistent enough, AIR 1 is not difficult. Right guidance and consistency will help you achieve your goal. No matter how poor were you until now, just start now and make yourself better. Everyone has to start somewhere. Start with positivity and do your work honestly and you will achieve everything.
However, in my opinion, you should try to opt for a CBSE-affiliated school. English taught in Bihar Board schools is not as good as in CBSE schools. English is important nowadays. Also, you can score well over here. Board preperation won't be a burden for you.

Im complaining main 12 th board with the 62.2 % in CBSE Board and I got 34.0442744 percentile in jee mains I m from sc category any chances to shortlist for tes entry shortlist for SSB
Hello Anurag,
It is quite difficult to predict the exact cutoff as the cutoff changes every year. But yes we can predict based on previous year trends. Based on your result it is very difficult to get a call letter. As the expected cutoff will stand near 75 - 85 percentile. So it's better to prepare for written attempts like NDA.
In addition to this I would like you to have at least a backup option i.e. a college for graduation so that you won't waste the year.
Thank you and all the best!!!
if we got 98.65 % in JEE MAINS but in CBSE BOARD (+12class) if we get 65% only DO we get admission in IIT or NIT
Hey aspirant
Yes you can get admission. Earlier minimum 75% is needed in 12 for writing jee mains. But now it is removed. Any candidates with 10+12 can appear for jee mains. Admission to NIT and IIT s are based on jee rank and percentile.
mam/sir i got 74.8% in 12th cbse board I have to increase 1 mark so that i can qualify for jee so can i give my improvement exam next year pls tell me urgently

is it possible to change my date of birth in CBSE board 10 class marklist my birth certificate have correct but marklist have wrong
To correct your name on a CBSE marksheet or certificate, you need to gather the original marksheet with the incorrect name, a document proving your correct name (Birth Certificate, Aadhaar, etc.), and a notarized affidavit explaining the reason for correction. Download the CBSE "Application for Correction in Name/Date of Birth" form, fill up all the details, attach the required documents, and submit it to the relevant CBSE Regional Office along with the prescribed fee. The process usually takes 4-6 weeks, after which you will receive the corrected marksheet as per CBSE's instructions.
