will NIOS BOARD STUDENTS can also be get promoted like CBSE students because situation is worst than ever now ....
As on July 3rd, NIOS has postponed the Class 10 and 12th exams due to the Pandemic. The official notification doesn't release any new schedule but says that the exams scheduled to commence from July 17th stand postponed until further notice. So it is difficult to state whether NIOS will follow CBSE route. This might be difficult because CBSE and NIOS have different working patterns. So we might have to wait to hear from NIOS rather than speculating. Please watch out for official information regarding the same at the official website. Please also do not fall a prey to fake social media news.
what is the cutoff percentage for 10th CBSE students if I want to take admission for B.sc.
As per the eligibility criteria, a 10th pass candidate can not directly enroll for B.Sc course. First, a candidate need to qualify 11th and 12th class with the minimum required marks. Also, there is no particular cut off marks for all colleges offering B.Sc. Each college has its own cutoff for admission to its B.Sc program (if it offers).
For checking the cutoff for a particular college, you may visit its official website and check the cutoff as applicable.
Hope it helps.
HOW IS THE MERIT LIST CALCULTED IN TNAU? IS THERE ANY CONCESSION FOR CBSE STUDENTS
The calculation of cutoff marks is done by individually dividing every subject's marks by 4, and then add all the marks, for example
Someone has got following marks:
Physics 91
Chemistry 87
Maths 92
Biology 87
Then
Physics 91/4 = 22.75
Chemistry 87/4= 21.75
Maths 92/4= 23
Biology 87/4= 21.75
Now the obtained cutoff is 89.25 .
And sorry there is no concession for cbse students there.
Hope this helps, all the best.
