The CPET Lucknow is verygood, especially for plastic engineering students. The average salary package offered is ranged between 2.4 LPA to 3.60 LPA, and this is what you can expect from CIPET. It's not that good for manufacturing. Plastic engineering as compare to manufacturing engineering have more scope and good scope in future for jobs .

Yes , I think if it is an option then you should select it. It is a good college with very helpful faculties and good studying environment. Moreover, it is better than any other branches of CIPET. Although the placements are quite average. But as I have heard it really prepares you well if you are planning for higher studies. The average salary is around 20-25K but that is just a starting salary and many have seen increase in there salary later on.

Eligiblity:
If you have completed your 10 th standard or equivalent, you are eligible to apply for the diploma courses at any of the CIPET centres. Age is not a criteria. Similarly for the Post Graduate Diplomas there is an eligibility requirement of a 3 year degree or diploma course with relevant subjects.
- Admission to all CIPET Diploma & Post Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma, courses are carried out through an online admission system. Applicants need to sit for the all India Computer Based Test (CBT) JEE. Selection is based on performance in the Joint Entrance Examination.
- Successful candidates selected for the course will be provided a provisional admission through a call letter. The candidate must accept the allotment of admission within the stipulated date else the admission will be cancelled and a wait listed candidate will be allotted the academic seat.

BE Manufacturing Engineering 166 marks
