Faculties are experienced and they also teach very well.

Only core companies are invited for recruitments to CIPET.

Placements for the first batch of plastic engineering were very good. All the students were able to secure jobs but many opted for higher studies.

All the campus of CIPET big enough. Labs are equipped very well with best of the instruments. College library is very good and students can also make use of it. Other facilities like classrooms, seminar halls and washrooms are also good.

There are hostels available on-campus as well as off-campus. Mess food is damn cheap, Food is not very tasty but you can't expect a feast at this price.

Placements quite good.

Alumni gathering made with senior like M.Tech students to share our current scenarios in job & align with them too which helped all to get into college of career growth.

Very bad counselling system adoptted by upsee. There is non availability of lyeing vacant seat has not been shown after first and second counselling.Learn from jeecup which is adoptted well system. Kya Btech karayege ye university jiske pas achha admission system bhi nahi hein. Bad placement condition is also in KNIT and BIET almost 40% placement in both college. Baaki college ka to bhagan hi malik hein. Fees dekho to dusero state ki hod karte hein.Es university ke halaat battar hote ja rahe hein First counselling mein 20000 seat + second mein 4000 seat aur admission lete samay bahut se bacche admission lege hi nahi.

According to the latest placement sector, choosing ECE would be a better option.

ECE has a wider scope and has a numerous amount of opportunities in terms of placements.

Both are Govt organizations and good. But IICT I think offers Carpet  and Textile Technology. Plastic industry is still a large one inspite of the environmental hazards and other stuff while Carpet and Textile technology are niche fields which means placements will be narrowed down to certain industries only. So pls check the placements. Rating wise they both are on equal footing. Also please join whichever field you have a slight interest in.

If you belong to open category it is difficult for you to get there but if you belong to SC/St you have decent chances of getting admission there.
