Pondicherry University : MSc chemistry course is here. The total fees for two years is nearly 45000. Placements are good here. Companies like Accenture , Cognizant , HP visit this college. Also the faculties are nice. Infrastructure is very nice. Hostels facilities are also very good. Food is very tasty in hostels and environment is very clean.

Hyderabad University : The total fees for MSc chemistry course is around 15000-20000. Placements are also good. Companies like TCS, deloitte visit here. Environment is also good. There are many playgrounds here . Hostels are also good.

Overall both the colleges have a good atmosphere . For brief information you can visit their official websites .

The hostel facilities and the mess facilities provided are good as per the students feedback. One of the best things to consider is the low hostel charges paid per semester. There is no such mentioned in the eligibility criteria for applying msc chemistry course in central university of tamilnadu. The admission in central university of tamilnadu is done through common entrance test . In the eligibility criteria it is mentioned that you should have bachelor degree in chemistry or with chemistry as major subject. And one should have secured minimum 55% marks or 6 cgpa. These marks are for general category. For every category mark criteria is different. But there is no mention of age limit.

There is a feeble chance of rejection. The signing in the admit card is just to verify that you have attempted the exam and to have a receipt for you. Not signing it doesn't mean you didn't gave the exam because if you don't given the exam how does the marks corresponding to your roll and admit number get recorded. So there is practically no chance of rejection in seat offered.

You will get more confidence if you just compose an official mail discussing you problem with the authority of Puducherry University and they will obviously give you a more accurate explanation.
