CGC stands for Chandigarh Group of Colleges.

Both colleges are good for ECE courses. However, if you consider best private college in Punjab as well as in North India please consider Chandigarh University. Chandigarh University is the best university in terms of Engineering courses whether it is civil, electronics, computer science, mechanical etc. Chandigarh University is the best leading private universities in India. It is the most fastest growing university. The university was accredited with A+ grade according to NAAC during its first visit only. Recently, in 2022 it is ranked #3 on India fastest and youngest group university according to QS World Ranking and secure 1 ^st position amongst all the public and private universities in Punjab. CGC Landra is a good college but we can't say the best for ECE B.Tech. There are better institutes such as Thapar University in Punjab and if you want to see for the whole of India then there are definitely much better institues such as the much coveted IITs, NITs and other GFTIs. Also many private colleges like BITs are also the top choice for most of the students. So I would like to say that there are definitely many good colleges for ECE B.Tech course not only in Punjab but also in the whole of India.

The Chandigarh Group of Colleges is a very reputed and prestigious institute that offers Bachelor's courses in various fields of commerce, Science and engineering as well.

The B.Com course provided by CGC is of three years and the fee structure is as follows-

Year 1- Rs. 46,250

Year 2- Rs. 43,650

Year 3- Rs. 43,650

All this comes to a total of Rs. 1,33,550 for 3 years.

This does not include the hostel fee, it will be charged extra if you wish to stay in hostel. The fees may vary depending on the college policy.

Look I have not been to either of them and without hurting anyone,and no criticisms,I personally think that Chitkara is one of the best private university in North India.Its higher studies, infrastructure and  facilities for students are really good as I checked every minute detail on different sites on Google.Even the Industry Exposure is really established very nicely. Infosys, Wipro, Newgen, Persistent, Capgemini, and much more are visiting the campus for recruiting its students for its engineering programs.

The college is accepting JEE Main for the admission. It's not clear it accepts UPSEE for selection or not. There is nothing stated in the official site also. they give admission on the basis of your +2 marks and they take tests and GDs too. you choose in which way you want to go for an admission.

Better look for an private college which has best reviews and low fee structure and take an admission.

You will get an admission for sure and don't feel bad for the rank. It's fine.

For SC category the qualifying minimum cutoff is 20% of total marks. That is you have to score minimum 120. So which means that you have sucessfully qualified the exam. You should look for colleges for yourself. Choose one which you are interested and find suitable also.

You can apply for admission online or visit the college with all the necessary documents required for the admission process. The admission is based on academic performance and the national level examinations. The application process has been started and will remain open until the last week of June 2019. But please do not wait for the last date. The application fees should be paid from online methods such as credit card and debit cards.
