The chandigarh group of college is not a good college for ECE or any other engineering branch because it is a private college and the placement record is very low in this college.
Most of the top companies do not want to visit in CGC and do not prefer students of CGC. The level 2, 3 companies are visited in this college and they are also paid by college.
For CGC branch it is not a good college many other good colleges are also available in Chandigarh so try them and don't waste time to taking admission in CGC.

From my point of view I would suggest you to not go to Amity if you really aspire to work hard and be successful. It's a place for fun, mindless riches and aimless students. If you are hardworking and passionate about something you will find yourself stranded in some lake of wasteful riches. But a CGC, the students are given strong foundation for learning. CGC provides ideal learning and training ground for budding professionals that allow them to practice and experience the real market trends.

If you have financial support then you can comfortably go for CGC Landran. The total fees is approximately 4 lakh without any scholarships. And there are events that can avail you interesting scholarship schemes (Grab one of them)
But for aninstance you need to think over and give a chance to yourself and give an attempt to the upcoming JEE Mains and I am sure that you will be able to mark up a good percentile to get admission in an esteemed engineering institute.
Otherwise Chandigarh group of colleges are a good option if you are willing to get admission in engineering right now.

CGC landran is good for engineering college ,you can also visit the chandigarh university and CGC Jhanjeri both colleges are also good fro persuing the engineering degree.

Let's begin with fees: the fees are affordable at around 45k for a normal student and around 14k for the fee waiver students. If you want hostel, ad another 37000 in the total.
Faculty: It seems most of the faculty here for CSE is good. They create their own notes and teach. It is great as well as bad. Great because students get a specific place to study from and bad because they won't teach you anything outside of that. Still some people are good here.
Campus life: the number of boys far outweigh the number of girls in the college.
Internship opportunities: Their brochure says they provide with internships but there are mixed reviews about them. Some people are unable to get interviews. But it is said that if you are a good student, the college will not disappoint you.
Alumni and placements: some legends have had the package of 33 and 37 lpa in their placement session. Average is at 8 lpa for CSE grads.
So to conclude, the college is good and will help you mould your future properly.
