No it is not mandatory to write ca foundation in nov 2018 you can skip the exam and write it in may 2019.But it is adviasable not to skip your even if you are not prepared for it as you get idea about the exam. All the best.

A CA Foundation Course candidate shall be declared to have passed the examination if he/ she obtains at one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all the papers, subject to the principle of negative marking.

It might be end of this year. U need to start regular practice of all the syllabus in IPCC. U can easily clear in First Attempt.

Most states in India doesn't provide better education like medicine for an individual.
Medicine always been a superior when it comes to career choice.
For medicine itself u have to score highest marks or percentage to get in top medical colleges same will applicable if u choose arts or commerce.
Its all about your interest in subjects u are capable.
For Eg :- Accounts and book keeping will choose CA, CS& ICW as career in Commerce.
For Arts, u can complete either BA or BA LLB.
for Science, U can choose BSC or BCA.
For IT, U can Choose BTECH or MTECH.

Join a good CA coaching institute for CPT exam and study regularly and ask doubts if any in your institute. Be disciplined enough to complete all the homework tasks given by the institute and give all the mock exams organised by them. This will surely help you. You just need to set an aim and execute it fine.
