There are several factors to be noted that passing out from IHM will get you more skills up to you but totally depends upon where you are working and experience and skills .

So a chef may get 5-10 Lakhs salary depending upon the qualities of his and his working.So sometimes he may earn more or sometime he may earn less.

As per the past years analysis and records, the estimated average salary of  a chef is roughly close to around 5 lakhs and 20 thousand ie around 42-45 thousand per month. The starting salary can be close to 4/5 lakhs annual package and it can rise as high as 25,00,000 per annum as well.

For becoming a chef you should get a degree in Hotel Management,To become an executive chef you should have an degree of IHM Diploma and a work experience of 10-13 years

The salary depends upon where you are working if you are working with a respective firm you will get a salary from 50K-1lakh

If you are working in a 5 star hotel,your salary may range from 1-3 Lakh per month
