I have completed 12 with physics chemistry math and biology. what will be my course duration for chemical engineering in a polytechnic college
The duration depends on the curriculum set by the college by generally a Diploma in Chemical Engineering is course of 3 years. And i strongly recommend you to not purse diploma course after 12th.You should have done after 10th and if you will will do a 3 year diploma now then it will be a waste of 2 years of your 11th and 12th.
So, either do any simple graduation course or any go for B.tech in Chemical engineering.
I hope this helps.
i am getting 72 marks in chemical engineering but have 63% in b.tech. what are my chances to get into a psu?
What is your score card nd ur rank??
If u tell me then i can give u all details of ur chances getting into psu.

kya sir)mam chemical engineering chodake BBA with event management krna better hai?
Doing BBA event management with leaving your chemical engineering is not the solution even it is true that in today's BBA in event management has higher scope but if you are doing a chemical engineering from good institutes then you don't need to leave it you can continue and then after completion you can do event management course, if you are doing from tier 3 colleges then leaving chemical engineering depends upon your interest ask yourself, do you really into chemical engineering if not then leaving may good for you.
Best of luck.

which branch of engineering would be best? will it be mechanical or chemical engineering... confused a lot between two please suggest. have an interset in both but I dont know why there is a doubt which I need to clearify.. please help..
hi,
see mechanical and chemical engineering is two different streams of engineering, and it has lots of different in full syllabus. basic first year engineering syllabus is quite same in all streams but main subjects starts from second year, mechanical engineering mostly deals with design and priciples of diffrrent machine, air conditioning, large vehicles system design, whether chemical engineering deals with chemical process and methods of operation in different power plants, advantages, management etc. however in India there is less job opportunity for chemical engineering, few opportunities in oil sector, on the other hand there is many opportunities available for mechanical branch , both in private and government.
hope it would help.
