what is correct order of increasing I.E of c,n,o,f,n

Hrisheekesh Singh 13th Sep, 2020

Hi Dinesh,

The correct order of increasing ionization energy of C,N,O & F is C < O < N < F.

The ionization energy increases in a period when moving from left to right. This is due to increase in the effective nuclear charge of elements.

Feel free to ask doubts in the Comment Section.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!

what is the structure of melamine??

mjaisinghani62 6th Jul, 2020

Hello aspirant

Melamine is an organic base and a trimer of cyanamide with a 1,3,5- triazine skeleton. Melamine is combined with formaldehyde to produce melamine resin. Resin is a very durable thermosetting plastic used in Formica, and Melanie be foam, a polymeric cleaned my product.

Chemical name of Melamine is

1,3,5- Triazine -2,4,6- triamine

Melamine is added in milk as adulterant to increase volume of milk. The addition of melamine in milk increases it's nitrogen content of milk and therefore it's apparent protein content.

the geometrical structure factor

Suvakanta Sahu 7th Jun, 2020

Dear Aspirants ,

I hope you are doing well ,structure factor is a Critical tool in the interpretation of scattering obtained in X-ray, electron and neutron diffraction experiments. Confusingly, there are two different mathematical expressions in use, both called structure factor.

But as per your query you not mentioned properly for what you wants to need the geometrical structure factor .

I hope you will understand

Thanks

kinetic energy of electron moving in orbit of hydrogen atom having de Broglies wavelength 10A is

Tushar Karmakar 30th Apr, 2020

We know from bohr model of atom:

mvr = n h/2 pi

We also know that kinetic energy of any particle is given by 1/2 mv^2

we also know by de broglie hypothesis de broglie wavelength = lamda= h/mv

Now you can manipulate these three equations and get the kinetic energy of electron.

is silicone ether or ketone????

Sk Student Expert 24th May, 2020

Hi

In reality, silicones have little in not unusual with ketones. Ketones exist as discrete molecules

possessing the carbon-oxygen double bond, even as silicones consist of polymeric chains with an

alternating silicon-oxygen backbone having alkyl companies bonded to every silicon atom.

More precisely referred to as polymerized siloxanes or polysiloxanes, silicones consist of an inorganic

silicon-oxygen spine chain (–Si–O–Si–O–Si–O–) with two organic organizations connected to every

silicon center. Commonly, the organic agencies are methyl. The materials can be cyclic or polymeric.

In short, silicon is a naturally going on chemical element, while silicone is a synthetic substance. Silicon is

the 14th element at the periodic table. a metalloid, that means it has houses of each metals and

nonmetals, and is the second most abundant element inside the Earth's crust, after oxygen.

why electron revolve only those orbits for which angular Momentum is integral multiple of h/2pie??? why only h/2pie??

lubhan cherwoo 15th Apr, 2020
Hi,
According to Bohr's postulates we can state that:The angular momentum of an electron in a given stationary state can be expressed as:

mevr=n2h

whereme=mass of electron,v=velocity of electron,r=radius of Bohr orbit,n=nthBohr orbit (Integral value)

Thus an electron can move only in those orbits for which its angular momentum is an integral multiple of2hthat is why only certain fixed orbits are allowed.

This explains the stability of an atom by giving a condition for an allowed orbit.
