Hello there!
Greetings!
I am extremely sorry to tell you but I didn't your question, please let me know your query in proper language which can be understood, so that I can understand it and then can help you with relevant and detailed informations.
Thankyou
what crown ether and what is its function
Hello Abhinash Kumar Panigrahi
Crown ethers are cyclic chemical compounds that consist of a ring containing several ether groups. They strongly bind certain cations, forming complexes. The oxygen atoms are well situated to coordinate with a cation located at the interior of the ring, whereas the exterior of the ring is hydrophobic.
Function of crown ether are
- The cations form salts that are soluble in nonpolar solvents, and for this reason crown ethers are useful in phase transfer catalysis.
- The denticity of the polyether influences the affinity of the crown ether for various cations.
- Similar in function to the natural product valinomycin.
Hope it helps you.
the shortest wavelength of He atom in balmer series is x, what is the longest wavelength in the paschen series of Li 2+
Hello Aspirant,
Agreeing Rydberg's Theory,
1/λ = RZ² (1/n1 ² - 1/n²) ,
In the event of Shortest wavelength in Balmer's arrangement , just when change happens limitlessness to n = 2 .I mean, n1 = 2 and n = ∞
Here , λ = x , Z = 2 [ for He+, Z = 2 ]
∴ 1/x = R(2)² [ 1/2² - 1/∞² ] = R
x = 1/R - (1)
For finding longest wavelength in Paschen's arrangement.
Take n1 = 3 and n = 4
If there should be an occurrence of Li²+ , Z = 3
∴ 1/λ = R(3)² [1/3² - 1/4²]
1/λ = 9R [1/9 - 1/16] = R × 7/16
λ = 16/7R - (2)
Separating (2) ÷ (1)
λ/x = (16/7R)/(1/R) = 16/7
λ = 16x/7
Consequently, longest wavelength in the Paschen's arrangement of Li²+ is 16x/7
how can I gain much knowledge in all three subjects.(MPC)
Hello dear aspirant.
I am glad to hear that you are interested in collecting knowledge of pcm. My dear friend for this you have to study really hard. For each topic you have to concern more than thee books at least along with this you need a proper guidance from teacher also.
Hope it helps.
Good luck
What are the some examples of co-ordination compounds of cobalt in its +4 oxidation state ?
Hi Student
One of the example of compound with Cobalt with oxidation state as +4 is Dicobalt Octacarbonyl [Co 2 (CO) 8 ]
