I am From OBC-NCL category ! I have done 12th From Chhattisgarh I want to Repeat 12 th From Delhi to make It my Homestate for JEE mains. Would i get Benfits from Delhi ?
Dear Student,
It is mentioned in the state code of eligibility in jee main 2020 pdf that State code of eligibility does NOT depend upon the native place or the place of residence of the candidate. For example, if a candidate appears for the Class XII examination in New Delhi and is a resident of NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh, the candidate’s State code of eligibility will be that of Delhi and NOT that of Uttar Pradesh. Also it is stated that if you have already pass the 12th class from one state and appear for improvement from other state then your state code of eligibility is where you first give 12th.You can check here
