I am civil engineer how can switch my field in cs/IT ??
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great. It's never too late to make the move to the IT domain. Learning skills like programming, networking, etc. will help you advance in the IT domain. However, the 6+ years of experience you have in the civil service will not be taken into account. In the field of IT, you will have to start from scratch. However, it will necessitate returning to school and obtaining a new degree. The equivalent of two years' worth of civil engineering work may be transferred. Same, just as when decided to switch to computer science.
ALL THE BEST
which is suitable for girls being a civil engineer or working in bank?
Hii nandhini!
Well in India girls do opt for civil engineering but the professional life in the same field is very hectic. It's a field job and requires a lot of patience, energy and strength to manage the actual work on the site.
Where as if I compare banking jobs then the working hours are less, you work under a roof and most importantly it is considered to be safe and easy. Plus you can manage your professional and personal life as well.

All the fields you have mentioned above are quite promising and with either one of them you can make quite a successful career. It would all boil down to if you're willing to put in the work to learn the skills at hand and how you apply them later, the field where you think this can be easiest for you to follow these steps, you can opt for that.

what is EKT syllabus for civil engineer
Hello aspirant ,
There is no such EKT EXAM conducted for civil Engineering branch.
It is not included as Educational Qualification for Technical duty. Therefore candidates who have Civil branch, do not have to appear for the EKT Exam.
Generally there are four branches of engineering for which EKT exam in conducted ;

Apart from this , a civil engineer is eligible for the Ground duty (non tech) as well as for flying branch. For both of these one doesn't need to give EKT exam.
