What is a good score in CLAT 2020?
In 2020, the highest score was 127.25 and the good score ranges between 60-127 in CLAT 2020. However, 100-105 is a good score in CLAT 2023 for admission to top-ranked NLUs.
How much do we need to score in clat 2020 to get into Banglore, NLU?
Hi
NLSIU bangalore offers 92 seats for general category candidates. To get into top 5 NLUS you have to score a rank less than 470
According to 3rd round of CAP(post clat) 2019
Third List
NLU Highest Rank Lowest Rank
Bangalore 1 58
Hyderabad 59 128
Kolkata 130 226
Jodhpur 181 354
Bhopal 256 376
Gandhinagar 301 468
Mumbai 449 512
If you are aiming to get a seat in NLSIU Bangalore, you will have to work super hard, nothing is enough. You will have to score atleast 100 out of 150 to get a proper chance.
a general category candidate will have to score at least 92 marks to secure a seat in NLSIU Bangalore. Whereas, SC candidates can get seat in the same institute with 71.50 marks. It is hard to predict the actual score you need to get as the cutoff depends on how hard the clat paper is
Best of luck. Hope you get the admission

Hi,

Hello. Due to some reasons I will not be able to submit my ews certificate. So what happens then during counseling for CLAT 2020? Does my seat gets cancelled or do I get treated as a general category candidate in the next round?
Hi there,
As per your query, if you fail to submit your EWS certificate during the counselling your application would get cancelled.
However, you can once discuss this with the authorities to take you as general candidate for next round of counselling.
Hope this helped...
Good luck !!
I am a sc candidate , recently gave clat 2020 ug scored AIR 25686 and category rank 1230 , I didnt received any email{ invitation }for 1 round counselling so, can I still apply for further rounds of counselling ? if yes then on which date and what is the complete procedure for that plzz reply
Hi there,
The NLU Consortium will invite candidates FIVE times the number of available seats in each category. Note that candidates who haven't received an invitation won't be able to register for counselling.
Candidates who have not received invite for the counselling process in the first round may be called during subsequent rounds, in case of vacancies, if any, arises in that particular category.
Here is the procedure for counselling process:
-
Step 1 - NLU preference updation
-
Step 2 - Payment of counselling fee
-
Step 3 - Exit from CLAT admission process
If you do not exercise any of the options above, i.e., (a), (b) or (c) within the specified time you will be considered not interested in the admission process and your candidature will not be considered for admission. You will lose your current allotted seat and your name will be removed from the counselling process and will not be considered in the subsequent lists.
Please see here the complete procedure here: https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/documents/Final-admission-counselling-instructions-CLAT-2020-October-5-2020.pdf
Also check here for more guidelines about the same: https://law.careers360.com/articles/clat-counselling
Hope this helps...
Good Luck !!
