There are very few companies which visit the campus for placements. Some of the companies which visit the campus are Jaro Education, organisation developing consulting, Capgemeni. The average package offered for B.Tech is 4 lack. Maximum 70 percent of the students gets job in campus interviews. The packages are average.

The placement of Presidency University 

The placement cell of college is very good. Right from the first year we are prepared for good placements. We have 2 internships. One is during 2nd year and the next one is during 4th year. Lots of companies visit our college for placements. As this year was the first batch to pass out, the average salary package offered was around 4-5 L

The PLACEMENT is neither too good nor too bad, but its good for a start. Average package is 4 lacs and around 90% capable students get the jobs. As the university has reputed partners and associates so the placements are good.

The INFRASTRUCTURE is top notch. With dedicated cricket, football and basketball ground. Contains all the new facilities and lab instruments and the infrastructure is based on green building concept so the porblem of light and fresh air is solved. Classrooms are well furnished and wifi enabled campus.

FACULTY : highly qualified and interactive

Merit scholarships is also given to the students.

Overall one of the best college to learn, live college life and get settled.

I suggest you CMR. CMR is a well reputed college and has better infrastructure, placements, faculty. The standard of CMR is stable. SRIIT has poor infrastructure and high fee with no excellency in teaching. If you're planning to move out after B. Tech, SRIIT doesn't have good scope.

As far as placement is concerned, CMR Institute of Technology  is better with highest package of Rs.9.5 LPA and average package of Rs.3.25 LPA. Companies that visit campus are Genpact, Oracle, Accenture, Airtel, Infotech etc.
