what is the best source of study for jee mains/advance other than coaching

Ishan Katoch 14th Jan, 2024

Hey there! Start by digging into your NCERT books—they're like the foundation. They cover a big chunk of what's in the JEE Main paper. Then, dive into reference books for a deeper understanding of Math, Chem, and Physics.

Use the internet! There's a ton of stuff online—PDFs, tips, and videos. Revise regularly to remember the important stuff. Don't hesitate to ask questions; clear concepts are key.

Practice with old question papers to get the hang of the exam style. Do mock tests, too. They're on the NTA website and other places. It helps you get comfy with the whole exam vibe.

Make short notes. Keep them snappy with key points. And always keep a positive vibe. Listen to pep talks, keep your goals in mind, and stay away from too much TV and internet.

Best Wishes ! Regards,
Ishan

Which platform is best for 2nd year JEE coaching. Online or Offfline??

Tanya Gupta 5th Jan, 2024

Hello,

Although online coachings and their advertisement seem tempting, it's always considered best to go for offline coachings. There is a huge reason for that, mainly, you have a fixed timing when you have to go coaching and study which might not be same in case of online coachings which offer recorded videos. This might help you slip out once in a while and break your consistency. Secondly, you develop a social group in offline institutes and have acquaintances with similar mindset who can help you out in case of doubts and also for friendly purpose to relieve stress.

You also have the option of getting your doubts cleared immediately again and again but you might get shy in online classes. Hence, I will recommend you to choose offline coaching.

I hope this helps,

Thank you

Which coaching is best for CAT coaching in kanpur? TIME/IMS?

Rajeswari Dey 23rd Mar, 2025

Hi aspirant,

Both TIME and IMS are good options for CAT coaching in Kanpur. Nonetheless, TIME is generally regarded as slightly superior because of its high-quality materials, faculty reputation and AIMCAT test series, whilst IMS is well-known for its pleasant faculty and SIMCAT series. Both TIME and IMS offer great mocks. However, TIME mocks are thought to be more difficult than the real exam. IMS mocks, on the other hand, are almost an accurate representations of the actual exam. In terms of pricing, both need significant investment of around  50-60K. Thank you and all the best!

Which institute is better for CAT coaching in Bangalore? IMS/TIME/BYJUs?

Rajeswari Dey 29th Mar, 2025

Hi aspirant,

When it comes to CAT coaching in Bangalore, TIME and IMS are well-established and popular options. BYJU'S has expanded its offerings to include CAT preparation and brings their technology-driven learning approach to the table, which can benefit some students, TIME is regarded as slightly superior due to its high-quality materials, faculty reputation, and AIMCAT test series, whereas IMS is well-known for its pleasant faculty and SIMCAT series. Both TIME and IMS provide excellent mocks. However, TIME mocks are believed to be more tough than the actual exam. In contrast, IMS mocks are nearly identical to the actual exam. Both TIME and IMS are renowned organizations. To make an informed choice, it is advised to visit their centers, speak with their counselors, and possibly take a demo class.

All the best!

ayanmukherjee045 29th Sep, 2023

Hello Aspirant,

It would be better that if you consult the natives of that place or even the person who has cleared jee and has opted for coaching in your area. They would be the right person to give advise in this matter. There must be some or the other person in your area who can guide you in this matter.
